How much does driver's ed suck?

i start driver's ed tonight (3 hrs a night for 10 days...sucks) how bad is it really? i mean the actual stuff cause i guess it could be different with different places and teachers.
 
its quite fucking boring, but just do it and get it over with.

having your G2 is worth the hassle.
 
it wasnt that bad for me. i had it for 4-5 hours a day for about 1.5 weeks. I had a cool teacher who didn't care what we did. We made the best of it and we had play dough fights(the room that was used had tons of play dough in it for some reason).
 
yeah in class sucks balls, but our teacher was kinda funny...

the in car stuff, is kinda nerve racking.
 
dude it sucks. I hope you're taking it with a friend. my friend and I drew pictures and played hangman and texted the whole time. soo yeah bring a friend or a phone to text. have fun. it sucks! the only thing worse is SAT class
 
fuck, i'm screwed. i can't skip it cause i live in MA and we have to take it. and none of my friends are in it with me. they either already have their licenses or aren't even old enough to.
 
I have no pity for any of you idiots that are stupid enough to take the class. I took it online and finished it in about 3 hours, and thats only because I was on newschoolers at the same time.
 
^since i wanna be sitting in this room for 3 hours. if i could take it online i fuckin would do it a minute. i can't, the law says i have so sit there bored out of my mind for 30 hours.
 
its summer now and instead of sleeping in, i have to get up at 7 for two weeks and got to it for three hours. gay as hell if u ask me
 
mine wasnt too bad. my class messed with the teacher in class so bad, but he was out of his mind. some qoutes are "driving testers have NO souls!", and "blacks are crazy". mind you this is nyc, not hicktown, Montana. My actual driving class was cool too. All you do is follow directions and its not a problem. the guy gave me credit for 5 hours when i did 1. he was a pretty cool old black guy
 
Mine was in a boring dull classroom with a senile old man and absolutely no friends.. 6 hours for 4 saturdays, most boring experiacne of my life
 
most classes involve alot of writing

youll be able to tell after the first hour how much thought your going to have to put in it as the teachers attitude will have alot to do with it.

and you only have to pass the class so dont waste your time doing all of the assignments completely
 
i actually drove for mine, and it was pretty fun. I was with 3 other kids: one black so wicked funny, one and alcoholic and he was always hung over, the other some malatto chick who was wicked serious. we always went to stewards and later threw what we bought out the window at people. the instructor thought it was hilarous.
 
well, i just got home. wasn't too too bad, we at least got 2 breaks while the instructor went out and smoked like fuckin 2 packs of cigarettes, and drinks a flask.

ya it takes some off our insurance, but we also only have are permit for 3 or 4 months, if you dont take its like a year.
 
that DOES suck. here in ontario we only had to do 7 lessons of 1.5 hours. it went fine, provided you had a not so frustrating/yappy instructor
 
it doesnt suck that bad, but over all it was boring. the driving part was the worst. It was such simple stuff, iv been driving at a higher level for such a long time that it completly bored me
 
i dunno man i went to class real high all the time so it was chill, and then driving is always cool and my guy was pretty cool so it wasnt bad at all.
 
and it definately doesn't suck because putting in a little bit of time will lower your insurance like crazy. definately worth it
 
im in it now. and its actually fun. like our teacher doesnt expect shit from us. she gives us candy and stuff.
 
drivers ed sucked so much, but my teacher was sooo chill. the first thing he said to us was "I don't care what you do in this class just don't talk louder than me when im talking, you can sleep, listen to ipods, talk with neighbors , i don't give a shit"
 
My drivers ed was tight as hell. The teacher was a kids dad that everyone knew, and he was real chill. We had it for liek 3 hours for i think 5 days and half the class was watching real movies like kill bill and office space. He had a popcorn maker so we all got free popcorn during movies and he kept stashes of candy and pop that you could buy from him for 50 cents. He always told crazy stories and the best part of the whole class was the seats we sat in were actuall car seats, so you could recline and stuff, it was sooooo comfy.
 
my class time was from like 9-3 or some shit for 5 days in a row in the summer. turned out to be the only sunny week of the whole summer. i was pissed.

but i did make some rad friends, and met a guy i ended up dating for awhile. so i guess it was ok. i wouldn't worry too much about it. just chill at the back of the room and listen to music or something.
 
Drivers ed is alright. You get to see funny , overly dramatic videos of families crying after car crashes, and once in a while, reals cars actually crash and shit blows up! And the drunk driving videos are beyond funny too, with kids drinking while driving and being all retarded. God, I wish I could get some of those videos now. So funny.
