How much do you spend on poles? And how big are they?

The most I have ever spent on a pair is 40$ and my mom actually pitched so they were only 20. But yeah, just wanted to know how much the average ns'er spends on a pair of poles. Frankly I don't see the point in buying sick poles because they always break or bend... I stick to the Jr. poles.

So just list the most you have spent or what you usually spend, AND the length relative to you body. My poles go up to about 5 inches lower then my waist.

I spent 15$ once on poles, usually I get the 5$ special. They are about 5 inches below my belly button.

I usually spend around $20 for poles that are a couple inches below my hips. Or I get poles at garage sales for $2. They work just as well.

stole mine at my mountain

funny thing is is when i took them they are 2 different poles

same length (short dunno how short)

one just weighs more haha

$0

Went to my local shop and asked them if I could have a pair of rental poles. I wouldn't mind a pair of the Scott Team Issue poles though. Those look dope.

I spent about $60 on Scott Punisher Poles last year. I had a sport check certificate, and since nothing else there is worth my time, I bought the poles

Also, they are 48" I think, maybe 46 or 50, not sure. All I know is that they are light and take all sorts of punishment

i spent 60 on my ski poles, their very light and flexy, but the grip system sucks

they measure at 125 cm

uhmmm right now i'm rollin 1 115cm joystick and 1 120cm joystick. 120cm = perfect for me. I bought the 115's first, thought they were too short, snapped one by accident, got the 120's, snapped one by accident, so im miss-matched right now

they're both pretty bent and re-bent

i thikn k they're like 40-45 bucks?

anywhere from the rage of $0 to $5...and they are pretty short, like maybe 38ish or 40ish.. i dunno..

I have the scott pink and black ones - 115 cm / 46"

they were $44, but I got a bit of a discount--normally they are $130

i get mad shitty poles for like 10 then just tape them up and find different grips and your good o like 3 inches below my hips

15 - 20 bucks. got carbon fiber ones on sale so they dont bend and dent like all of my friend who get new poles ll the time

buying poles sucks a fat d. 40'' junior is the cheapest, best performing pole option out there. leki makes stronger poles than scott i have found (particularly for junior poles)

5 $ old school Blizzard poles in purple. I like them just a little higher than my waist, don't like it too racer or too gangster.

not more than $20....my last pair got snatched and they were only 10$ ...like wtf.....inch or two below belly button

i go to thrift shops and pay 2 buck when i need new ones.

most expensive pair is a pair of black diamond collapsable touring poles i got on SAC for liek 25.

Mine are really small. like... my arms are almost straight when i have them stuck in the snow.

I have some Swix CT1 poles. They retailed for $250, but I got them on employee form for like $100. They are the bomb, sooo light. I have a pair of Scott slalom poles for park, the CT1's are for everthing else. I'm 5'11" and my poles are 46".

$0. old rental shop special. my poles are for pow days, so they're huge. i don't ride witht hem for park most of the time, so i like them huge so when i'm polin galta traverses (etc) my pole can actually reach the lower harder layer.

125cm, i'm 5' 11''

I got the 44" orange and green scott team edition poles with the leather straps for like $80 and they're totally bombproof, I don't think it's even possible to bend them...

I don't have poles right now, but I don't like paying more than $20 for them. I like them long enough so my arm is at a little over a 90 degree angle.

got free rental poles at 125cms for teaching / proper skiing.

got some pink ones with glittery silver fairies in 100cms for park. they were 30 swiss francs. pretty sure they were designed for little girls cos they have barbie written on them.

o, i am 6'2ish.

true that.

had the black and white joysticks before but they bent so fucken easily i wanted something more solid. oh and my scotts are 44"

usually find them laying around, when people break some they put the set in the rack so I take the good one and find another good one then I cut both the same lengh. usually around 30"
