How much do you bleed?

are you bleeding right now? i am. i think i'm bleeding like 35% of the time of my entire life thus far. which is probably more than most people. it's like a major fucking characteristic of my personality that my skin is always leaking, and i have all of the scars to show for it.

how bout you guys? i figure the freeskiing community, yknow, we are pretty extreme. we go hard. i know all of you guys have to find at least one other adrenaline rush for every month of the year your hill is closed. maybe you skateboard and your jeans have mad holes, or maybe you work hard and you get cut (or burned) a lot, it's just part of your job. how much blood do you think you're spilling?

I normally cut myself doing stupid shit, never anything cool. Like making food, cutting boxes for work, etc. It's never a cool story

what do you do? i got a lot of cuts and burns when i worked in a kitchen, and my homie gets some nasty burns from welding.

man so weird I was just thinking about this last night too. I have to keep a "good" comforter and a "bad" comforter because my legs and hands get so beat up at work and biking and shit that I always get blood on my sheets. shits so annoying. so i have to keep a good one for when I know a girl is coming over so she wont think i'm disgusting haha.

so, in short, a ton.

i take massive shits which always end up in me ripping out my asshole due to the size and density of my shits quite painful i have reduced myself to living on the toilet because the pain from wiping is to great also very bloody id say i spend about 50% of my time bleeding

I am. They're mostly from lacrosse or doing stupid things like accidentally smacking my hand into door frames (that happens a lot)

this spring not so much because i'm not out on the lax field.

during ski season not so much either cause i don't seem to cut myself skiing, i usually tear stuff or get bruised up.

during the summer i'd say about 50-60 percent of the time. between eating shit on the trampoline, to eating shit on aggressive skates, to getting cut by box cutters stocking shelves at the grocery store, i'm pretty beat up. i also hope to get into some form of fighting this summer so that'll help too.

my hands are constantly calloused though because of lifting.

Hardly ever. It also takes a lot for me to bruise too. Never broken a bone in my life except for my sternum, which I never even went to the doctor's for since they don't do shit for you.

i do a lot of outdoor work and go rockclimbing at least once a week but i almost never get cut up or scraped, a lot of my friends (who i work with or climb with) have got scabs and cuts all over their hands and arms while i'm almost always 100% unscathed, i guess i'm either more careful or i have tougher skin or both ...

I do this in the summer too with my cousins, we do hay as well as farm cattle and a few chickens. I always come back with some good scars and cuts.

When I'm making something I have all sorts of little cuts. My hands seem to be the best type of sanding block, shaping tool, etc. Definitely sanded too fast and too much and gave myself blisters from the heat or friction more than once.

/images/flash_video_placeholder.pngI mostly only bleed when I cut myself shaving. but ive had a blown knee for a while so im not up to my usual shenanigans

Aside from nicking myself shaving, i don't bleed very often. Almost always in some state of injury, but bleeding is fairly rare.

A few weeks ago my boss asked why my elbow was bleeding, and I looked at my elbow, noticed it was bleeding, and said I had no idea. Must have clipped a piece of camera equipment i was moving. That's one of the weirdest things, how you can get cut pretty decently and not notice until you see the blood later.

I have been remodeling a neighbors kitchen. Yesterday I was laying tile for the backsplash and I ended up cutting my finger on the tile. It looked like a paper cut, but it bled like crazy. It seriously took over an hour to stop bleeding. And just when I thought it was done bleeding, I would move my hand, and blood would be all over the place. Strange. WE HAVE A BLEEDER!
