How much do MRI's cost

I just looked at my medical insurance and I guess they dont cover MRI's so i need to know how much they cost on average.

The 2 - 3 thousand range is probably the best guess. I've had about 3 or 4 in the past 6 months and they are no fun. Check again though because I'm sure there is some loophole that will cover the MRI.

And also expect a little longer than 20 minutes in that tube. Mine were a good hour long of loud bangind noises and no moving.

Mine was free - but my dad's a doctor.

And man, the noises that thing makes it weird... my first time in it I thought it was broken

i dont know how much mine was but they do suck, i threw up while i was in the mri due to massive amounts of blood that i swallowed and I still had to lay in there

Not too sure how much mine cost..insurance covered it. But I do know that i was in there for an hour or so and I had to listen to "Smooth Jazz" the entire time.

mine was 2300 but insurance paid for. i would definitely get one. i could walk and ski on my knee but it turned out i had a fractured tibia and torn acl. i just got surgery Friday for it.

It's nice not having to worry about that kind of shit in Canada. Blow your knee, you're out for the season and you've gotta come up with 3000 dollars... WOOO!!!

True but in Canuckistan you do have to wait a hell of a long time to get the surgery so miss the whole season just waiting whether it is a serious injury or not.
