How much did your setup cost?

Title says it all. I'm trying to figure out how much I'm gonna need. I'm planning on a drop in covered in orange fence, not turf, and one, maybe two rails. So how much did your setup cost? I'm hoping for mine to cost less than 100 bucks. Is this reasonable for a legit setup?

under 100 is reasonable for a good drop in and a rail or two, but it can be done for way cheeper if you look around for whats free, it saves you so much money

Only take lumber outta dumpsters if it's in good shape. Don't use any sketchy shit, you dont want it breaking. But if you can find good lumber in a dumpster, take it.
It would be hard to find screws for free unless you stole them (not coo foo)
P.V.C. is extremely easy to find for free. The stuff is just asking to be taken from random places (but don't take it from like people's houses or whatever haha)
If you can't find free construction fence then, I'm sorry, but you're just plain dumb (jokes)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Also, get creative. Look around your yard and garage for things that you already own. (Example: You can make a drop in out of a playground, deck, treehouse, etc.) Doing this will save you tons of money.

Hope that helped d00d

thats mine.the final update will be posted today with the rails and everything.we bought mostly new wood/piping and the whole thing will come out to under $125.00.
it sounds to me like if you bought EVERYTHING new, (which from experience i can tell you is a waste) it would cost you around $75.00.I obviously dont know where you live or the kind of access you have to materials, but if you want free wood here are some places you can ask:
1. construction sites. especially house that are getting framed. they have a shitload of scrapes.
2. house demolitions. a lot of times this wood is kinda sketch, but you can always make it work.
3. any place that uses pallets. they're normally free and more than willing to give them away.

:O shit! mine is gonna be 100% free cuz there building houses near where i live so i get everything form plywood to two by fours and pvc pipes and all shapes and sizes!! started building it today!

im not sure what all was bought. my uncle helped me build it. he welded it and everything. its pretty amazing though. its all made of metal and comes apart into pieces. i will post pics when i can

my parents are annoying and don't like me taking stuff that isn't mine (even if it will never be used) so i think i paid something around $150 for turf drop-in and 4 rails

Depends on how nicely you want it to be built and how asthetically pleasing. I spent quite alot of money on my set up so far.

I bought all the wood except for the plywood sheets that we got from a dumpster. Took the time to stain everything and countersink all the screws so it would last a good long time and I wouldn't have to be building a new rail every year.

I have a 3.5ft Drop In, 16ft Flat Down Flat, 11ft Up Flat or Down Flat, 14ft 8" Round PVC Barrel Rail, 10ft Steel Single Barrel Rail, and a legit jump onto the FDF and DF.

I'm gonna make a 15-20ft Flat Box too by just putting two metal pipes on as coping and putting pvc pipes in the middle.

Here's my Drop In and FDF.

dude, for the kid above me, that rail is sick, except you could only hit it in the winter, judging by you don't have any turf or things down.

Nah I just took the picture before I had the jump for it finished. And I have plenty of turf and snowfence it's just not in the picture. This was right before the first snow of the year so I was gettin all my rails out and ready for that so no need for turf with winter that close.

i have a wallride/stall, 50-60 feet of 2 pvc wide rails an up a down and two flats, 60 some feet of boxes an up a down and 3 flats, working on a 20 foot rainbow and another wallride.

total cost... around 50 bucks..

hours upon hours of fun... priceless...
