How much did YOU improve this season?

So... how much did you improve this season? A lot? A little? At the end of last season, I couldn't clear any big jumps at my home mountain, and i could only do 180s and very rarely a sketchy 360 off a lil' mogul. I could go on boxes, but not do anything on them. I couldn't do rails.

However, this season, I can 270 on, 270 off, and switch up on boxes (but not all at once), 270 off rails, 360 with tons of grabs off big jumps, 540 with some grabs, safety 720, and pencil 900, all on the biggest jumps at my mountain (bogus basin). For me, that's a HUGE improvement. I can't wait til next season...

What about you guys?

lets see, last year my best trick was a pencil 5 and 3. those were my only jump tricks. and a 2 out was my only rail/box trick. now i can, 5, switch 5, switch 3, 7, backflip, frontflip, madd butters, pretty much any rail, 4 out, pretzls, almost lincoln loop, and various other tech rail manuvers

i improved a ton at rails, such as 270's and i just dont relaly like jumps..ohh and i can do massive truckdrivers!!!!

a lot. [claim]first 9, cork 7, grabbed cork 5, almost a cork 9, first rodeos, 270 ons, laid out backs, superman fronts, hucked my biggest cliff ever[/claim]

2 on off box, 3s, 5s, 7s not many grabs tho.

fs 2 off anything, spining on to downrails(small urban style) some times. spining onto rails. couple pretzels sometimes and back flips. not much progression in my spins but w/e couple new grabs

Wow, looking back I didn't do a single new trick this year... My 3's got more consistant than last year, I got more comfortable with 5's off of bigger jumps, I think I did 2 7's all year and they were sketchy and gay. The only trick that really improved was my flat 5. I was only landing about one in 3 flat 5's last year and this year I was landing most of them and doing truckdrivers. I got more comfortable on rails and did some switchups both ways.

honestly not that much...the stuff that I have learned still scares me alot...(5s and backflips) I only tried 1 seven this year, still can't ski out of fives just land and revert...I took my 3s to way bigger jumps though...but that is just about it.

i went from doing 5's to cork 7's and 9's with decent grabs

270 on and off, switch ups,

and all this with a fucking vagina semi sliced off heel.

last year= first year skiing-NON FREESTYLE

I wasn't freestyle but only hill around was all park so...

I was one of those super gapers that sucks up little cheesewedges on the sides of rails.

This year=First year of freestyle

I can slide 95% rails (havent done much urban, no kinks). fs/bs 270 out

i did an 82 foot spread eagle. :P

I can grab 1s consistently off our 50 foot step up and off most goodsized jumps

I can 3 most of our jumps, working on grabs.

nose butter 3s (sketchy)

improved in backcountry a BUNCH

dropped a 30 footer.

god i hate claiming but last year i skied park for the first time on skis and could 360 with a (sketchy) grab, and pencil 540s and 7s. i could do boxes and very small easy rails. i could do decent sized jumps though.(i was so bad because i barely skied at all and the year before that doesn't count because i was a snowboarder)

this year i can 270 on any box or flat rail but not on rails, 270 and 450 out on some rails that are high enough. grabs up to 720 and can huck a nine but i hate hucking its gay. i started doing flips almost killed my self but landed at backflip. over the summer il probably improve corks and do some other stuff. im realy happy about this year i skied so much despite 3 weeks out from an injury. its my second year so im happy with what ive done

not enough, overall i suck at progressing i landed my first 360 5 years ago and landed my first 7 this year

i only added a 7, and taking my 3s and 5s a little bigger and grabbing 3 safet and 450 out

I learned 3's, 5's, 7's, rails, fs/bs 270 out, and working on switch ons, got grabs up to 5's although i didnt get much time to grab the higher spins since i learned them last day. and most importantly i got comfortable spinning of big jumps. also i got MUCH better at actually skiing

didnt ski much park this year but when i was there i was trying to put more style into my 5's n 7's

skied heaps of backcounrty this year so improved a lot at that. was trying to throw 3's off cliffs, havnt got it nailed yet but will do more next season.

dialed in my 5s, learned and dialed in 7s, got a few 9s, 1 10, can cork everything up to a 7, grab everything up to a 5, d spins, rodeos, a whole bunch of off axis inverted stuff i dont know what to call it, hit just about any jump without being scared of it anymore (well 50-60 foot tables), skied more big mountain lines than i ever have before, dropped my biggest cliffs (40-50s), aand lots of em :D had more ski days than i have ever had in a season before, and had more fun than i have ever had in my life!

270 on/out, switch ups both ways, switch on. grabs up to 5s, 7s, sw 1s and 3s. also dropped some bigger cliffs and 180ed a few good ones 2

i learnt a little bit.

i got right foot foward solid, 450 out, rightside 270 out, both change-ups, switch3 5 and 7, cork 5 and 7. i leave to go back to nz in 10 days, have 8 left of skiing so im hoping to get bio 7 and rodeo 5, maybe 7 by the time i leave

last year my biggest tricks were cork 10 and rodeo 9. this year my biggest trick was a cork 9 and it was on a jump 1/2 as big as usual. Now sunshine has a big jump but unfourtianlty my knee is fucked.

so i stayed the same/improved a little on the rails and unprogressed on jumps

FUCK YOU RCR

PS: I did get alot better at moguls though, so i am still really happy with my season

WARNING: CLAIM AHEAD

This year I improved quite a bit. I learned pretzles, unnatty pretzles, got better at switch 5s, learned switch 7s, backflips, 270 on 450 out, other various rail combos, true nose stuff, did my biggest cliff, skiied the most days I have skied, and had my SICKEST POW!!

I would say my grabs improved this season and got more tech on rails/boxes. But if anything improved significantly it was my filming and editing.

/claim.

i only skied 2 weeks but got from 3 and switch3 to 7 and switch 5. 3 and 5 with a few grabs.

also did my first back and tried switch back and flatspins.

/claim of

i barely improved much at all. but i had so much fun this season. i just learned my 3's over the largest jumps with grabs. and i got all my gap to rails and 270's cleaner. pretzels cleaner. this year i was just really working on my style issue. next year should be good though.

i would say my grabs improved the most along with my style...i feel that i got a lot smoother jumping and on the rails.

that was my winter season hopefully i can continue to ski through out the summer:)

I went from last yeard barely going sideways on boxes, never touched a rail, hit only 10ft jumps and decked 20ft'ers

this year i got 270 in/out, sw up and bs sw up, 360 safety, super sketch safety 5, pretzels,

Seeing as how my seasons at the end,

I went from 180's and 3's and frontsiding boxes and rails to

switch 1's sw 3's, consistant 5's, 3's with mad grabs, switch ups, 270s on 27's out, backflips, oh and essentially a penciled 7. Most of this is off small 15ft ish jumps but all of it - switch 3's and 1's I did off bigger jumps haha. oh. Spread Eagle 3's are mad sweet.

word! I didn't really try to film/learn tricks much this year but had a ton of fun shredding. especially since it was my first year living out west and got to shred some epic pow.

Gonna have to agree with John here. I've been partially injured all season and yet it has been the FUNNEST season I have had in my entire life.

I got injured and healthy about twelve times. And I guess my grabs got a little better. And I landed a cork 7 on one ski. I'm gonna be stoked about that one forever.

i went from not knowing how to ski or ever skiing in my life,to being able tp 3 with grabs,do lots of rails,2 on,2out,switch up,butter
