How much can you get for a PS3?

yeah so I need some cash and happen to have a "broken" ps3. it turns on just fine but when it is plugged into the tv it doesn't show up on it. maybe my cord is fucked or something, idk. my real question is how much do you think i could get for this if i took it to a store?

also how much could i get for a thrashed ps2 with like 5 games?

I'd look around on eBay or Craigslist for used and as-is PS3s if you want to get a good estimate.
 
have you used it on more than 1 tv? if so, the video won't show up after you've changed it so here's how to fix that.
Turn it on, so that the button is red. Hold down the power button with your finger for 5 seconds or so until you hear a couple beeps. This will reset the video settings on the console. Turn it off, turn it back on and you should be good to go. It's not the cables.

yeah ive used it on like3 different tvs. ill try it in the morning i have to like dig out all the cables and shit and let you know how it goes.
 
Im going to highjack this thread.

Heres the story i sold this kid a pair of armada JJs that were like two years old for 300 bucks this year but he couldnt pay for them yet so i took his 360 as collateral. Well the seasons almost over and im wondering if i could just sell it for 300

I have the 360, it works fine

2 controllers, both work fine

and all these games that also work fine

I would think it would be worth over 300

How much do you think i could get for it at like gamecrazy
 
well if mine doesn't deserve its own thread then either does yours. therefore we should just have a mod delete this and ban us from the site. what do you say?

thats not as important as the fact that minutes dont change around the world, so 8 minutes in ohio, is 8 minutes in california, assuming thats where your from, west coast
 
dude how'd you know im from ohio? hahahahahaha yea i do, it just annoys me when people bump a fresh thread and dumb stuff like that, like 8 minutes is ridiclous, you should atleast give it the night
 
yeah, for real though, when you turn on your ps3, hold down the power button until you hear a beep while its booting up. it'll go into detect video mode and it'll work on any tv at that point
