How much can u bench?

17yrs, 5' 7", 135pounds, max bench 200,

u should join the bodybuilding cult theres lots of good stuff on benching and stuff in there

i can't lift shit. but to be fair, i've broken my shoulder and collerbone, and don't work out. i've got pretty sick endurance though; used to be a hardcore swimmer and cross country runner. lately, all i've been doing on a regular basis is skiing. gonna have to get into a work-out routine soon enough though..
 
i work out all the time and i dont ever get hurt... and wtf i just spent like 10 minutes looking for that weightlifting colt and didn't see it.. do you remember who the grand master was/ if its still up?

for field hockey we did a wieght lifting program. I oculd only lift the bar... and needless to say i dropped the program pretty fast.
 
I agree. Benching is so useless. And yes I am extremely athletic, I just think benching is a huge waste of time. If you are gonna work out, at least do a good exercise. Or run. I NEVER lift, but i maxed at 155 at my friends house. I'm 6' 170
 
i cant bench very well cuz i seem to break/sprain my wrists alot doing other things but i think i did 150 last spring and im 17 about 145 and 5'10"
 
yeah... benching is useless tahts why its the main lift everybody does, no matter what sport your in... its probably the 2nd best general lift you can do behind squats

i can led press close to 500lbs tho 2 or 3 times
 
mhmm. basically. I'm not gonna lie, I don't know how much I can do. I don't workout at the gym. I can do like 70 pushups in a row though...
 
2002 senior yr high school, age 17, 6 ft 220lb, 1 rep max 325.

High school running back in amazing shape.

me now at age 21 185 pounds , not sure what max bench is, don't lift for strength anymore, i rep 225 - 245.

4 year professional ski bum, in good shape.

And bench is huge for just about any sport. Is it a good test of one's overall strength or atheletic ability, no.
 
21 yrs old, 225 lbs, and the most i've done was 395 before the wrestling season. now its more like 330 since i havent been lifting as much
