how much can rails mess up ur skis

i kno this mite seem like a dumb question to some of you but im kinda new to freestyle skiing and i also ski around the whole mountain.i was wonderin just how much damage rails can do to my skis

they will eventually destroy your skis.

Haha, grinding will scuff up the bases a little and round off the edges, but who cares. Unless you are a racer (in which case you should get rid of your twintips because you are a poser), then you won't have to worry about it.

If you only ride park youl be fine but riding icy pipe is going to be like hell

Rails really don't do much but dull the edges and make perpendicular scratches on the base... I find it getting a little more difficult to hold an edge at high speeds since I started doing rails more.

But whatever... I have another pair of skis.
