How many ski days you all got so far this season

About half as many as I'd have liked so far, and couple of weeks still to go, but the situation is non stop snowfall this March and April, and looks like it will continue for at least another week.... Sometimes there's just too much snowing going on. Total days so far is about 20 out of 45 days in resort..... way more down days than usual this time of year cause of weather. Was meant to be 3cm in the forecast today (so they said yesterday), it was at least 20cm last I was outside about 2 hours ago.... and it ain't let up yet.... still dumping away.

im about 25 mins, I cant drive yet.

That’s honestly pretty good then considering you’re in Ohio and your given circumstances.

Before I had my license I would get in maybe 20-25 days a year and that was it. And 90% of those days were at a hill close that had no park so it wasn’t ideal.

Lmao, sounds like my resort, but you get down in 30.

Yeah it only took 60 because 80% of it was dead flat, to where you have to skate to not come to a stop, then the last section was a mellow dropoff.

Sunday was day 142 for the season. Had to hit up targhee for closing weekend. I work at the resort and right next to a bus stop so it’s easy to get the days in. This is starting back October 25th so I do count quite a few bone zone days ;).

Like 20 maybe, got injured second week of the season and missed like 60% of my season, big bummer.

luckily copper is open a few more weeks and I’m going to woodward for a week this summer also a basin is gonna stay open for most of the summer I’d imagine. I bet I’ll get another 20 days in before the season ends depending on how long abasin stays open

3 days a week for 4 weeks plus about 2 days a week for 8 weeks and another 8 so like 36 days. feel like my first time skiing at jay this year was yesterday.

48 this year, always ripping keystone when i wasnt driving the zamboni. My girl has 89 but shes also an instructor so does it really count if your lugging 3-4 year olds up the gondola all day?

I got my 420th ski day in Aspen on 4/20 this year. Can't prove it for y'all with an cool screenshot but I've done the mathematics using the numbers from my ski pass app and confirmed it.????

No, it does not count.

Probably depends on how much fun you’re having while instructing. I’m sure [tag=273397]@WoFlowz[/tag] can attest.

yeah some days were ass but most of the days I had a lot of fun teaching the kids. Especially so if I was given a park lesson… id get to rip the park with a 5-6 year old (or a couple) and teach them how to slide boxes, get on/off the rope, ski switch, etc. Or even days where I would cruise real mellow Greens with the group I had and I would take some slow switch carves while I kept and eye on my group a little uphill of me.

I was always finding a way to have fun skiing & having fun teaching the kiddos. so yeah maybe you could count those days lol.

Eh some exceptions. I took a “ski class” at MSU, which all it is was skiing gnarley stuff with a small group plus instructor.

hundred percent counts. I didn’t have a day this season where i was coaching my rangers group and not rippin around bumps, steeps, trees, the park, gates etc. Def a lil different if you’re working normal line up lessons and not a program but id count it

You 3 will turn into the old dudes I meet on the chair bragging about how many days they skied lol

But yeah I mean I guess it depends on the program. Typical ski school at a big resort? I wouldn’t count it. But teams programs or more loose, smaller resorts - maybe I’d count it

True. To be fair I don’t even count how many days I get anymore. I can maybe put a roundabout on it but I’m not keeping tabs or anything on it.

Just did the math and I got about 54 days this season which is kinda crazy since my first day on snow this season was Dec 10. In 2020-21 I got at least 100 days since I lived in a ski town and all my college classes were remote. Hope to get that many again if my knees can handle it.
