Hey guys,

My box is 16 feet long and i have four pieces of 48x24 HDPE, how many screws should i put into each topsheet piece and in what arrangement. Currently i am doing it like this:

O O

O

O O

O

O O

For each 4 foot section, should i do more screws than that? Thanks,

hey, umm. don't put any in the middle, get some stuff called Liquid Nail or stuff like that, comes in a tube. put that down in the middle, put screws at the ends and put a in to middle of the two screws on the edges, and keep putting more in the middle until they're all evenly spaced. so, on the edges evenly spaced, and liquid nails in the middle.

even if you counter sink them they can still catch on the HDPE or whatever you're using, i have that happen all the time on mine. and plus the liquid nails would create a more all over grip

what can still catch on the HDPE? and why would you need screws or liquid nails in the middle? you said for grip but i dont understand what you mean by that...

i've done the counter sinking liek that and i've caught that counter sink area with my edges every time. and if you use liquid nails you cover a more througho area instead of only where the screws are to hold it down.

i used HDPE strips and i countersunk nails every 10inch +- the strips are +-2inch wideand everything works fine....only thing, my HDPE is black and in the sun it expands and my rail gets bump, alltough this doesnt affect the skiing, if you wet it, it quickly becomes normal size again and it flattens out.....

yo i countersunk a shit ton of screws in the middle of my box aswell as on the outsides and it works perfect so..
