How many people ski without poles?

i ski with two poles. every once in awhile i will take them off in pipe and fool around doing handplants. but thats about it
 
we take them off sometiems to fuck around...alot of people at mammoths ki wtihout poles. i bet people from san francisco would to, i hear that city is like 5 years inhead of any other (south park)
 
Nahh, no pole skiing is the way to go I reckon. It looks different, and we're sorta biting slalom and mogul skiers, I mean, why do yoou need them? It is 10 times easier to grab. My mate went down and skied with jossi Wells, and he wasn't using them, so my mate stopped using them, and told me to try it and i rekon it awesome. Looks way better.
 
Yeah Mahre's no poles style is siiiick. My mate can definately pull it off. He's sick as and he's been skiing for six months, like 2 weeks w/out poles

ITs fun to ski without em in the park, but on the Mountain skiing f'real its kind of retarded, as far as kids that pull it off

i guve alot of credit to those who can do it. i feel, well, naked with out them. i tried a rail without poles, and slipped out hard..
 
i used to when i was a kid.....thats how i learnt, but now, it fucks me up with out them

 
i dunno. we always made drop pole runs, and i barely noticed a differnece. i could do all the same shit as i could with um. i dont really see the big deal about it. its nice to not have to hold on to anything, but at the same time it gets annoying in a way.
