How many people here can do the octo grab?

how do you even do them haha. no picture is good enough to show what way the legs go and everything. do you cross the skis and then push the knees out grabbing opposite skis?

octo's are my new favorite grab. I can do em with most tricks, its kinda harder for me to do them on switch tricks for some reason.
 
what do you call it when you do a tail blunt, then do a tail with the other hand. because ive done this grab alot and really dont know what its called

i can look at the d-jam big air video in the thread it was my winning jump switch 7 octo one of my best y tweak it and grab it till the end
 
such an easy grab to phantom, just get used to throwing your legs into the octo position on hips and stuff.

I like just doing that wierd mute grab sometimes, like right hand right ski leading mute
 
not sure those are octos man ^^^. dont get me wrong, really sick, but isnt octo a righthand mute along with a left hand true tail same ski?? what ur doing is opp mute with inside tail
 
i do opposite octos with my regular spins then regular octos when i spin rightside... its weird. i know. but im prety sure what im doing is octo. feedback anyone?
 
i can, but then i became more of a fan of just the weird mute part and leave the blunt out of it
 
no like gangier spins right so he brings the nose with his left hand and right hand tail. but i spin left and still grab left hand nose right hand tail. anyone get what im sayin?
 
ye i do exactly the same, it feels easier, i put it down to being used to crossing my skis in mute style position and so feel more comfortable making the cross the same and just grab differently, and then try and tweak it to hell
 
But i have spun rightside with octos and i can see how charles can almost touch tail to tip, it puts you ina rediculous position to tweak em together.
