how many pairs of skis have you rode

I was just wondering what a normal number of skis is for how many years, i started jumping like 2 years ago and have gone through 5 pairs of skis, is this abnormal or are most people like that? some of it was warranty issues but other than that i just rode alot of skis.

well ive gone through 2 pairs this year, and this is my first year sliding rails, i dont know about abnormal but u might be beating a little too much out of ur skis

started 3 seasons ago on elan air twists, broke them, went to skogens, broke them, went to enemys and they delam so now i get publics...

i have broken 2 pairs of skogens and 2 PEs this year, so 4. got warrenty on only one cus it was out of the year on the skogens

2. started last year with skogens, made it through the season with em and then sold em and am now going strong on this years 1080s.

i collect powder skis. i only have 3 pairs.

1 Dynastar Arno Adam 194

1 Volkl Explosive

1 My new baby is a set of gotama

but in the last 2 years i broke like 3 pairs

2 sets of volkl (old p30 and explosives)

1 Rossi Scratch bc

ive had my 1080s for just over a season, and ive been really rough on them and they still are in wicked condition, except for the edges, but hte bases are in good condition, and have had no delams

 
only 1 pair....salomon 720s are great to stand over time....just dont do rails with them borrow someone elses ski for rails ;)

Had a pair of wimpy ass dynastar speeds a while back, my parents wouldnt' buy me better skis and i couldnt' buy them myself. . . broke 2 pair of those, but other than that my PE's and Volkls are holding up nicely

I started freestyle skiing about 4 years ago, when the teneighties first came out. I didn't money for skis that year so i bought some Salomon 720s the next year (the first year they came out). I have been riding them for 3 seasons and do rails all the time and they have been holding up great. Now i am too damn tall, so i'm getting some public enemies and using my Salomon 720s for urban rails. but they didn't break yet.

i ride 720s and i hear about this delaming and pressure cracks. what are they?? cuz i guess i've never had skis start to fall apart.

 
i started 4 years ago with a pair of poachers, sold them for harts, broke them (delam tails) got rossi pow airs, snapped them in half at high north last summer, got mad trix but cracked an edge and crushed the base then got public enemies which are the best skis ever.

i gots me some dubble tippers
