How many pairs of poles do you got through per year?

well, im already on my second pair this season. so i was wondering if i suck at life, or it happens to alot of people. Im contemplating just going no poles when i ride the park. save me a little cash, then just whip them out for comps, and when riding the other parts of the hill.

I dont think i've ever broken a pair, or at least not in the past 7 years or so. I've bent some, never broke except for goodie poles wayyy back in the day

i dont use my poles all the time but this is there 3 season and they are just bent and knicked everywhere still useable

Used to be one or two pairs broken every year but I've had the same Kerma carbon ones for 3 years and counting now. I'm converted.

how do you guys through that many poles a season? If my poles get screwed up during the season its just because I'm being an idiot and bend them somehow.

ive never broken any but ive severely bent a few. my current poles have lasted me a season and a half now...only series 2.5

i just broke my first pair in 11 years of skiing because i got mad pissed and bashed one with the other and it bent in half. so rentals ftw

ive had the same pair for 3 seasons now. Ive had two pairs stolen, and broke one pair a few years ago by not lifting them up at a half way station, which bent them at right angles.

1. I actually had 2 last year but I just decided to get shorter poles half way through the season. I broke those in a wrestling match and have a new pair. I bend them every day I ski but they are aluminum kids poles and bend right back.

Never broken a pair except a few years back when I was learning to ski switch and I crashed into a SLOW sign right underneath the lift. Felt real cool. But yeah, my poles look like they got stuck up the ass of a bucking rhino because they're bent in every way imaginable, but they don't really break.

Goode poles seem to last me forever, they can bend so much. I did break one of my Goode poles this year because my ski broke and I beat it with my pole, thus cracking the composite shaft.

Good thing is, Goode poles seem to be with every pair of rental skis I see this year, so I found my replacement easily.

i plan on keeping mine throughout the year, but last year I was a dumbass and threw my poles on the side of a trail, hoping to go pick them up, but they weren't there when I skied to the spot I threw them down, so I went through 2 last year.

I've already broken 3 this year and the ones i'm using now is a broken one that a put a piece of copper pipe over to keep it together. Those were good poles too. I break poles so often its fucking rediculous.

ha i cant say i never fall, but i have had the same pair since i started skiing bout 4 years ago. cant say i use them much anymore though either...

I just steal poles from rental shops and when i feel like getting new ones i dump them in the woods and steal a shorter pair. The poles i have now are made for like a 3 year old. What of it.

I broke mine when i got cut off and ended up hard braking from hardpack to powder and landed on my planted pole and just bent it crazy bad then broke it trying to straighten it.

i say just get some from a ski swap for really sheap or from a secound hand store. they will be like $5 bucks so it dont matter if u break them

last year i went through three pairs the first one i broke trying 270s on the second pair was stolen and the third pair i ripped into eight pieces when i found out my girlfriend cheated on me

broke a pair last season, was skiing moguls and on one pole plant the thing bent at a right angle. the baskets break every now and then as well. Thats what you get for using old cheap poles...

i decided that i wont buy new poles anymore. broke 3 poles last season and my last poles were stolen so NOPOLES
