How many of your parents ski

My parents shred.... My mom is terrified of powder, and usually catches her tips and wrecks in deep snow... My dad is a really good skier, and he did a 360 haha... Tim Russel is a daddy, he is probably the best skier parent out there.
 
My mother absolutely owns-she's technically flawless...really fun to watch ski-she used to race hardcore but really-how many people can go rip w their ma and have her keep up??

She even started grinding flat-boxes the past couple years-idk she's cool.

 
both do my mom used to go often and was pretty good but she doesnt go much anymore, and my father stated at the same time as me when i was 3 and he is average
 
My dad is awful because he started when he married my mom. My mom pwns though, she started in the hills of the Czech Republic with leather boots and wooden planks for skis. She got offered a job at Snowbasin as a ski patroler a few years back based soley on her skiing. Hell yeah mommy!

(my parents are divorced)

my mom just started skiing this year cause whenever my sister and I would come back from our dad's house on monday it's all we would talk about. My mom said she wanted to ski and my dad bought her a seasons pass and a season rental equiptment.

she used to really suck but she can rip down the greens now.

my sister is pretty good, one of the better girl skiers at my mountain. I'm trying to convince her to get twins because she demoed them in Telluride and loved them, but she doesn't want to because she thinks that everyone will expect her to do tricks then.

My Dad is the man. He is seriously a complete ski bum. He works all fall/summer/late spring as a painter in order to fuel his skiing habit. He's just rediculous. I think he had somewhere around 60 days this season, where as I only had 50.

He also has Motherships, and is gonna get some new twins. My dad loves catching air, and he's the one that got me into jumping.

my dad : skiier since grade 7 and he is a really good tele bum and he can ski switch better then most 48 year olds i know haha

mom skis

grandpa ski 115+ days a year
 
My old man is pretty crazy. He looks like he's havin so much fun, and he goes pretty damn big for a 45 year old. Twisters, daffy's, spreads- old school steeze

But i'm seriously impressed by my grandfather- I swear his skis are stuck together, his parallel is fucking rediculous. Old school Italian racer style, makes me want to be so much more technical when i ski with him.
 
none of my parents have ever skied in there entire life, i plan on taking them to our local hill this winter tho
 
Both.

Mom works at Mtn, and skis about 20-30x

Dad loves skiing, about 45-60x

Closest ive gotten them into park is my dad 50-50ing some wide boxes, and straight airing :)

 
my mom started skiing the same year i did. when i was 8. shes alright. will not get into park tho. even tho i tell her about how great it is almost eveyday.
 
my dad still skis alot for 49. Almost every weekend of the winter. He had his chance in the park, but when he tried a 3ft flat box, he slid out and nearly collapsed his lung after landing on the walky-talky in his chest pocket. Haha
 
my dad kills it pretty H core. 360's here and there. almost any box on the wider side sideways. a better question......is how many people's grandparents ski?!?!
 
my dad was in the olyimpics for freestyle he was sposered by oakley and hart skis haha my mom shreds too
 
my dad is 47 and he did every woods at jay with me .. EVERY!!! my mom skies too but shes still on the magic carpet ( we call it le «tapis magique» in quebec )
 
yup. my mom learned from my dad like a year before I was born. they go cat skiiing and stuff. and my two younger brothers do to, the youngest is the best at park, doesnt mean much cause everyone else sucks at park.
 
my mom used to ski pretty often but not anymore.

my dad still skis quite a bit but he's a weekend warrior cause of work. my sister snowboards but she rips and has no regard for speed check signs.

My dad sucks. He started when he met my mom and hasn't improved since, haha. He tries though, and I give him props/respect for that. Recently at Snowbird on the first day first run he tried something too hard and ripped/tore his calf muscle. He couldn't walk right for like 2-3 months, but tried skiing more anyway...
 
my mom used to ski but she quit. but my dad is an obsessed tele nut. he is on the patrol and instructs. it kinda sucks cause he gets to ski even more than me cause i have school work and crap.
 
my dad goes like 5 times a year but he hits any jump that i would ever hit

he was also one of the first ppl to land a 1080 in the North East at Brodie Mtn
 
my dad gets in like 10 days a year but we liv in chicago so yahe has classic style but still rips doesnt do ne park tho he has the same style as my 30 year old bro
 
hmm my mom used to ski bum in tahoe in the 70's and when i was born till i was 3 she work at the local shop and brought me in every day, which explains why i am so obsessed
