the real question should involve something along the lines of:

how many of you got new skis this year and how many days have you skied on your other pair of skis?

like how many days have i skied on my old skis?

i've skied lots of days on my publics because they are better for all mountain and i dont want to ruin my scratches, if thats what you mean

because when someone says "i've skied on the same skis for 3 years" could mean that they've only logged about 12 or less days skiing a year compared to someone whose skiing 50+ days.

then you really have to consider who is actually in need of new skis.

yeah, but some people need new skis for a different style of skiing to. like i usualy get a new pair of skis every year but i have more than one type of skis. so i use the same pair of skis for 3 years and get a new pair every year.

I did cause K2 is sick, i snapped my PE's from 03 and they sent me new 06's over the summer free of charge, so now i got chronics and PE's

i just ordered my first set of twins, Line Invaders with some Rossi bindings...they'll be ok for my first set I guess...I hope. I've been riding my regular old Dynastars up until now

If u use the same bindings and sell ur old sticks...new skis are relatively cheap!!! For what you get out of them!!!
