How many kids at your school SERIOUSLY ski?

pretty much just me and my brother

but 3 of my snowboarding friends from a school really close to ours are switching to skiing next season

oh and then theres a ton of fairy fuckers that go join the gaperfest at my mountain
 
There is at least 15 at my school but we have 3 other high schools that have way more skiers and then there are a bunch more at the middle schools
 
At the new one there is going to be like 4-5 and this last year was 3 counting 8th graders.
 
theres me and my one friend and everyone else is a huuuuggee gaper

there were some fucking thug austrian guys who were dope skiers but there exchange ended.
 
theres some good skiers at my school. Theres probably around 20 of them at my school and i think theres 3 or 4 that r better than me. 
 
There's like 6 out of 400 students. I'm probably the best and I'm not even that great. In my school people think you're gay if you ski. There's some snowboarders that think they're pretty hot shit, but they're not. They can do 3's at best. I wished I lived in Rossland BC. They have a fucken freeskiing ski academy. The hill is not even a 5 minute drive away. You can literally ski into town.
 
two that ski, a few snowboarders, but the ones that were actually good and sponsored and did comps graduated last year
 
4 skiiers here me and my bros = 3 and 1 gaper. but like 20 snowboard and think theyre the shit. but the rest are hicks so yeah they hunt in their free time...
 
As far as I know, only 2 kids from my college, including myself REALLY ski.. and the other guy is kindov a fuckin prick.
 
i would say like ten out of 600 in my grade are not gapers. but there are a shit load who ski they just either race, dont ski park or are gapers..
 
I know im replying to my own thread but there are about 1200 kids in my school and again about 6 or 7 that are not gapers, put i guess thats the way it is in pennsylvania
 
There are about 20 kids who are good at my school so that looks like it is better then most of you

but at the school i went this past year it was just me and one snowboarder
 
live in bishop 45 mins away from mammoth .........im like the only kid that skis (not gaper) and i have like 4 buds that board .........but we chill with mammoth kids so its good

im from this little town in norway, which making me the only kid at school taking skiing seriously. and yea it blows. i dont even have a boarder here!

to the fall, im heading to a ski-highschool-thingy i donnu how the schoolsystem in us is. but yea, i guess u have the numbers
 
my school has about 900 students

SKI: 3 plus me that are decent

BOARD: about 30 that are good
 
alright iv cracked some numbers and found the average percentage of people who are good skiers at schools. I used the ratios that people gave on this post and found an average. so here are the numbers

average % of people who ski well: 1.155%

lowest recorded percentage: 0.003%

highest recorded percentage: 10%

this means that if a schools population is 2000 people we can expect to have 23 legit skiers.
