i'm workin at this dank ass pizza place like 2 minutes from my house, i get like 12-15 hours a week. my bosses are greek as fuck and i dont have a clue what they are saying! but i get mad amounts of free pizza, so its a good job. and the best part is i never work earlier than 5 most of the time, so i can ski saturday and sunday and be back in time to work. what about you guys, whos got the best job?

summers i worked a combined 55 hour week with my two jobs
one as a camp counselor and the other at a mini golf course

i work 20-30 hours a week (but i could work 10 if i wanted) at a grocery store. all i do is sit at a kinda local grocery store. let's say it's no wal-mart haha. anyways i just run the cash register AKA stand around and talk to my co-workers, or i stock shelves AKA walk around the store bullshitting. it's only minimum wage ($7.15) but i still get a weekly pay check of $150 to $200 so it's pretty nice.

I work as a gym supervisor for about 9-12 hours per week. My job consists of me doing homework, aimlessly using my computer, and walking about 17 feet to count how many people are in the gym. And I am at work right now.

I work 40-50 hours a week at an engineering firm, 10-15 hours a week at a ski shop, and various hours as a pedicab driver, depending on the week and my energy level. I used to do 40 hours a week at the engineering firm, 40 hours as a security guard, and another 20 as a barback, but that took a toll way too quickly. I'm also a full time student.

I work 30 hours a week as a education assistant and about another 10 or so a week as a mentor for kids who are in/have been in youth corrections.

not reeally, but hopefully by march or april if my portfolio holds up I'll have enough saved for a nice down payment on a house and can cut back my hours to 40 - 50 a week and ski/bike all I want

~15 hrs a week as a drafter at an Architecture firm.. I'm in highschool so they only pay me $11. Worked it up from $8 a year ago though! woohoo haha.

~12.5 at Hannaford (grocery store) quite boring but its money and i meet everybody that goes in the store pretty much

I work 6.25 hours a week at my schools cafeteria, so i can ski all weekend and in the evenings if there is enough light to see where i am going. I make just enough to cover my expenses.

40-50 hours a week on a gas fitting apprenticeship. monday-friday, 8-4:30 (or later, depending on service calls)

Everyone that works for the company is a skier or snowmobiler though (6 of us), so we are going 10 hour days Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri on rotation for the season. =D

That's fuckin awesome dude. That's kind of what it's like on pow days here. They don't really expect you to come in..

Last week was a 79 hour week. This week is turning out to be around 55 hours. No overtime pay or holiday pay. I work at my local ski hill as Terrain Park Supervisor. If I'm not on the hill riding or digging, I'm in the shop building new rails. Love my job 99% of the time.

i work like 20 ish its dooooope too i get 15 an hour cuz my best friends dad owns a company that does that santa and easter bunny things at the mall. all i have to do is work with my friend and this guy wanye and take the pictures and i dont have to dress up like an elf. oh and i get free food

I work about 15- 20 hours a week at a turkey farm/ mini grocery store. I am a junior in high school

We do sandwiches, turkeys, produce and other little grocery things.

I get paid $8(minimum wage) but it is a laid back place and the people are cool there.

For the past 3 - 3.5 years i worked 35-40(50 a most) hours a week at linens-n-things, a retail store. Now out of business.
Now I work about 6 hours a week at Best buy as a cashier. its only 6 because i am a full time student and its not close to where i go to school, but close to my house at home. It should pick up though

40 hours a week, running a printing press printing labels for sterilite products. only 4 days a week... its the life.

pics or it didnt happen

i work for a period of 1-6 hours whenever someone in my town needs a babysitter

and, living in a rich town, i get 10 bucks an hour

this week... 18 hours total at Footloose Sports....
The week of Dec 20th.... 40 hours at Footloose Sports and 21 hours teaching Skiing at the Main Lodge at Mammoth..... I may not be able to function after Christmas.

40 - 50 in summer

0 - 40 in winter...i get to ski 4 days a week...

and pow days the sign goes up "out on jobs" ...

i didnt make any money last january it snowed everyday for like 2 weeks :)))))

During the summer i worked 40 hours a week as a tender for a small masonry company and would put in another 5-10 hours bussing table at night, worked up enough money to put me through the ski and school season without a job, but the funds won't be lasting too much longer and i need a job but im really hoping to get by until the end of the season

20 hrs a week and i work at a ski shop like right in front of my resort!!

i dont have school in the winter so I ski 9-4 and work 4/5- 8/9.

40 hours a week as a welder/machinist for montana air national guard and get sat/sun/mon off every week. dont know what i make exactly but my net is somethin close to 1100 every 2 weeks. plus free college which i take week day nights.

10-20 hours a week during school year (full time college and ski at least twice a week) summer varies from 40-60 hours a week. I work at for a plumbing contractor and depending on what Im doing I make anywhere from $10.50/hour to $28/ hour.

I work in a research lab at my college, i get 8.25 an hour and can get paid up to only 8 hours a week, which really isnt all that much, but I had originally told my professor that i would be willing to volunteer in there, so the pay is like an uber bonus.

Depends. Sometimes I'll work 40+ hours a week at 25/hr, then I'll have

like a week or two off where I work on freelance stuff. Except work

right now is dead for me, and I have been sitting on my ass for way to

long, my bank account is dwindling, and my credit cards are getting up

there.

I work for a production company and do my own freelance gigs.

im a full time student and college track athlete so that takes up a ton of my time, but i still manage to work anywhere from 6-18 hours a week through random jobs ive picked up here that pay anywhere between $8.35/hr - $10/hr. Most of them include sitting at a desk and doing my homework haha... pretty good deal

I work at a dank ass pizza place about 2 minutes from my house as well. Usually i ride my bike. I worked about 15 hours/week in the fall then cut down to 7 hours/week so i can ski plus the economy is affecting his business so he doesn't need a cash register person on weeknights. I get like $6 and hour + tips which can be like $5 from the tip jar for doing nada.

I also make wraps for the next day so i have ski lunches which is a ++++

Nice work man! That's what I did through school too. Worked between 60-80 hours plus school... bought a house and completely remodeled it during that time as well. Now I work 40 hours a week managing a wireless internet service provider company, 25 hours a week at my local hill as a park digger, and doing a remodel project on my off nights. Its about 70-80 hours a week now but it will pay off.

at a hotel in south burlington as a banquet server. the base wage sucks ($6/hr), but we get to split the service charge of each event according to how many people worked the event. so like last night i ended up making around 100 bills for 7 hours and tonight i should make about 150 for 8 hours b/c its a bigger event. its not too bad.

40+ hours a week at the Summit County Hospital in general med and ER as a nurse's technician.

Plus random shifts if i want them at Goods, a retail store, and whatever i wanna do hat making.

wahooo
