time to bump an old as fuck thread to announce that i talked to aziz ansari a few days ago in los angeles.

so i didn't really talk to him, i just yelled shit at him, but it was so fucking awesome.
 
ive met a number of people in bands just by hanging out by the tour bus.
fieldy from kornthe drummer from limp bizkitotto the bassist from limp bizkitquick autograph from rob zombie, met his smoking hot girlfriend tooi got to shake hands and ask howard dean the democrat who ran for president, a few questionsi shook obama's hand (thats it, literally thousands of people swamping me trying to touch the guy)john edwards, pic with him, shook his handall the members of the group disturbed, taproot, dope, 7/9 slipknot members, everyone from staind, yada yada
that is how you meet people though. they have to get on / off the that tour bus somehow...so they walk to it. and to walk to it, its exposed. so just hang out by the thing before / after shows and you can meet bands realllly easy.

 
partied with bam margera before (his wife missy is my sister in laws, younger sisters BFF)

met most of the steelers and penguins, a few PGA golfers (US open was here like 3 years ago)

i get to meet a lot of bands metallica, ratt (lolz), maroon 5, coldplay, rolling stones, pearl jam, damian marley and others (my dad's friend books them all to play shows here)

i pretty much stalk passion pit when they play on the east coast so i've met them a few times.

and really the only "pro" (he's just semi well known) i know is brian kish, i went to hs with him.

when tom petty played at the superbowl a few years ago, my dad was standing right next to him (hes a photographer). tom petty talked to my mom on my dads phone right before he went on stage. she freaked out and then proceeded to fall through an unfinished deck. hahah
 
i know he owns a bar somewhere near me in milwaukee, i forgot the name of it though. he stops in the ski shop i work at every once in awhile. really nice guy.
other than a handful of pro skiers, i haven't met anybody too exciting. kirby puckett's daughter went to my high school, so i would see him in the halls or in the parking lot after school pretty often, but never got the chance to talk to him before he died. i've met a few other former Twins players.
oh, and two weeks ago i thumb wrestled p.o.s. at his concert. talked to him a bit after. he is super chill
 
Travis Pastrana etc... (bunch of pro motocrossers). Other then that I was driving, and Dave Chappell pulled up right next to me, rolled down my window and was talking to him, he is super cool.

my dad knows a couple of the red hot chili peppers and he chilled with them for a while when he lived out in cali.
my cousin (U of M) played poker with Micheal Phelps, he said he was a dick and sucked a poker.
