'95 3/4 ton Cummins

I've wrecked 3/6 in my 4 years of driving

Who can compete?

Gave the timeframe for statistical purposes. Don't worry, i'm well aware of the fact that you are more badass than me

used to own a legacy. I got it around 200,000 miles and took it to 274,000 then the blower motor for the vents stopped working so driving in the winter was quite dangerous. so we scrapped the car. now I have a forester. still going strong. I guess my time frame has been 8 years.

yeah i guess so. My theory is that i spend a lot more time behind the wheel than most people. I average roughly 6500 miles a month. All tallied up i've racked up about 600,000 miles combined

hey fuck stick - go back to high school and retake your drivers ed class because its apparent you lack basic driving skills.

thanks for the high insurance rates!

'89 Wrangler YJ

ive had an 89 buick, bout an 05 huyndia, buick was up for sale, totaled the huyndia and now im back to the buick

1. Fuck you

2. Wrecked the tdi jumping it in a field.

3. The other wreck was a blown tire causing the trailer to jackknife

4. Give me the best driver in the world and they couldn't have saved it, theres no possible way 70 mph, loose a tire on the trailer and you will have problems. How do you think big rigs wreck?

Fyi I haul loads across the country for work. Rack up that many miles and you will run into trouble

Been cruising in my Acura MDX 2001 for about a year now even though it's been in my family since 2003. Things at 215000 miles so it's close to the end. I get my Dad's beamer whenever it breaks so within a year it'll be 2 cars in 2 years.

Owned 4, totalled 1.

had a Ford Ranger but I sold it and bought a Subaru Legacy.

Totalled the Legacy and bought another Legacy.

Still have the Legacy and bought a Forester this summer as well. On paper I own half of each, but in all reality though the Legacy is mine and the Forester is my partners.

I want to get a truck this summer, but I think I have to convince my lady it's a good idea to sell the Forester - she'll try and tell me I should sell the Legacy. Should make for an interesting conversation.

2008-2011: 01 jetta wolfsburg 1.8t (sold at 200k miles because it failed to pass inspection)

2013-xxxx: 01 jetta 1.8t

(no pics yet because I just got it, its dirty, and its stock)

Owned 2 - wrecked neither (knock on wood)

OP, care to elaborate on why you drive so much? Cause those numbers workout to over 200 miles per day, every day. Which is around 4-5 hours of driving every single day.

I've owned 5 cars, been driving for 12years and never even scratched a car.

1995- chev Z71 bought for $16k with 100000kms sold with 410000kms for $6k2007-GMC Denali bought new still mint with 200000kms

the average for males is 5.1 crashes per million miles travelled, which puts you slightly below the average with two crashes. I imagine you have a much higher concatenation of highway miles compared to the average driver which im sure would change the statistic slightly

but if you do the math correctly which OP clearly sucks at he has drove 312,000 not the claimed 577,000. So he's over the average by a good amount

Hot shot trucking.

easy to explain. some days are 800 mile days. If i leave my house its a guaranteed 80 miles round trip. Thats to city limits and back

hahaha i didnt bother checking his math because i thought it was to easy of an equation to get wrong. ya op you suck at driving. i would also be willing to bet the chance of crashing on the highway is smaller than the city putting him even farther off the average

There are times when my truck wont shut off for 30 hours straight. If i put in 12 hours of driving time @70 mph thats 960 miles. Highway miles rack up quick

Y'all must suck at reading. I have been in one crash that was an accident. I wrecked my first car intentionally by jumping off highway. The one accident i have had ended up wrecking 2 vehicles. Thats whats throwing off y'alls thinking.

For ease of thinking lets say that i have driven 500,000mi. One accident in that many miles is a decent ratio. The fact that that one accident wrecked 2 of my vehicles is whats throwing it off.

I own a '98 Rav4 and an '04 Honda Pilot and I have wrecked neither. Been driving about 2.5 years.

Owned 3 from 2010-2014

Wrecked 0

Guess you fucking suck OP.

Side note, the second vehicle I owned was passed down to my brother and that little shithawk wrecked it in less than a year driving it. I had that car for 2 years.

lol yall didn't grow up in the woods and fields i guess. if youve never jumped a car i feel bad for ya

none so far. Only had my license for like 2 1/2 years though. considering I know a ton of other kids that have totaled their cars, I'd consider myself a decent driver

owned one car for many years now, its been through a few bonks (one person sideswiped it when i was parked, another backed into it again while it was parked on the side of the road, but i've never crashed it myself. never so much as touched anybody before while i was driving. im a pretty fast, mildly aggressive driver, but im safe and very aware. it's almost like i expect everyone around me to be stupid so i have avoided a lot of collisions thanks to my constant alertness.

im a boss. 290 miles later this 94 acura is still haulin

89 toyota 4runner

98 toyota t100

My dodge costs me $96 a month. I have no tickets and have never been pulled over. The only time ive ever talked to a cop was when i wrecked on the highway. Didn't file an insurance claim on either truck so my rates are still fine.

for ease of thinking lets say you drove an average of 6500 miles a month. 6500 *12*the four years you have been driving = 312000 miles. i dont think you know how averages work, the fact that occasionally you will drive 960 miles in a day doesnt get excluded from the average, therefore you have driven 312000 miles not 500000miles

I see your point. I feel as though this thread has gotten way off track. I made the mistake of adding miles to this whole matter

"occasionally" no, driving is my job - I drive 15 days on, 15 'off' ( Im a carpenter on my days off)

.

From the personal standpoint i drive about as much as anyone else. However, I do a lot of driving thats not personal. I bought my dodge with 148k on it. Currently it has 41x,xxx. All 'work' driving.

I drive a lot. More than the average person.

91 silverado extended cab- flipped it hitting ice on a corner

96 f150 extended cab- first manual, only 125000 miles, rusty but only $450.00 bucks

1980 ford pinto- wanting to put a 302 in it and go fast

Now I'm driving a Volvo s80 for the winter

I've had 3 cars over the last 7 years. Wrecked none.

Well I blew a head gasket on one and never fixed it.
