I am 6'3' and weigh about 200lbs. i am riding Scratch 182's.... is this apropriate? what size shoul di be on or is this cool?

 
they should be the same height as you, unless you have a hard time with long skis. In which they should come to your chin

5'9 170 lbs and im on 163 airtyles theyre too small for me i think but i like them theyre soft and i have fun

a guy at my shop said it should come to your nose. My skis go to my nose but they seem a little short. So I'd say anything smaller than that would be bad. If its comfortable then its good.

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass
 
im 5'9 160lbs and on 163s,and just like five-o said,we have fun with them even though i know theyre too small

Go with what is comfortable. I'm 6'4' about 210# and I ride 182 twins and 195 singles. I like my twins to be a little shorter, so they are easier to control

 
i'm 5'11' 140 and ride 171's, i could probalby ride 181s but i like the 171's better.

5' 1' and i ride 168s, long skis look better in my opinion, but if u prefer short skis, as long as there above ur shoulders

I agree with whatever feels comfortable. Some say nose heigth, and others head high. Mine come right above the tops of my ears. I ride a 176, it feels comfortable to me even though I am on the tall side, but agreed that longer skis look better, especially since it is harder to ride them.

 
5'5'', 130 lbs, 169 PE's, and 168 Volkl V's. I like my twins just about as tall as i am, or in the case of the PE's, a little taller. I can spin really easy,so having shorter twins doesn't help me. it all depends on your preferences

2 many ppl post bout sizes.. easiest way is try and see what u like but make sure by ur shop that ur not over weighing the ski... ive seen 6ft guys on 150s and 4 ft guys on 170s .. skiing is getting away from the 'size' you should ski... just enjoy what u like urself as long as there isnt any structural damage done to the ski ur fine...

well i think that if there are alot carving on the ski you should have shorter cuz there easyer to turn with but if there are less carving go with longer skis

If you're carving alot I would go for longer skis. Short skis aren't as stable.

I'm 5'11' and I ride 181 1080's and they're sick. It depends on how heavy the ski is and all that too, but like everyone says you just gotta ride some stuff and see what suits you best. I think some people do ride skis that are too short and its not very stylie but thats just my opinion

how can you like teneightys. i did a zero spin and they flexed so much when i landed that i hit my face on ice. avoid salomons twins (unless you cant land backwards)

I'mriding Concept 165's and I am like 5'9' and 150 lbs. I like them, they come to about my nose and I don't think I would want anything longer. I always thought that the purpose of these new shaped skis was to make it so that you didn't have to have as long of skis.
