To call someone out and file a ? Payment was sent on the Thursday the 29th and seller said "it should be monday or tuesday" when he sends them out. It is now June 15th and i have not heard back from him yet either NS or Email. His last login was the 29th too.

never too soon, you can do it almost immediately. it can be a long process, especially easy though if he really is ripping you off, because he won't respond. once you raise your dispute to a claim, they give the other party like 10 or 14 days to respond, if it isn't worked out between you two, paypal can take 30 days to make a decision.
 
i've just turned my issue into a dispute and that was over a month ago - i'll escalate it to a claim in a few days too.

Sorry to hear someone is having a lend of you man.
 
And the plot thickens........

The member that i bought these skis from (member since before 2001) is ALSO another very respected member from a while ago that has 2 user names.

And to make it even more complicated, i bought ski's from the other user name (more widely known one) and had problems getting my skis.
 
How was this guy throughout your dealings with him? Was he communicative, or just blunt. If he was good and friendly, give him some more time. Otherwise slap a claim on his ass.

Good man. It shouldn't be so much an insult as it is a wake up/reminder. If you really aren't sure whether its time yet and if he's not really a scammer, he'll probably be fine and mature and it will work out. If it turns out he's a dick, well then hey, you acted and got you money back, fine.
 
i had the same thing happen. he was on top of it until i sent cash, and has not signed in since i sent it almost 2 weeks ago. after 3 days of not hearing from them, i went ahead with it. before i deal here now, i make people agree to ship immediately through paypal. if i don't recieve a shipment e-mail in the next couple days, i feel they have not held up their end of the deal. doing it this way makes it really easy to prove to paypal i was dicked as well. could you pm me the paypal name u sent cash to??? i want to see if there is a connection
