How long does weed last?

just curious, i started smoking not long ago and i wondered if weed ever goes stale/how long that takes?
should i like rush to smoke it all or is there time?
yes i'm a noooob, i know
 
dont worry about it, just seal it in a baggie with no air and youll be fine for a while. if its gonna be chilling for a longass time, you could put it in a jar
 
Depends how fresh it is when you get it. If it is super dry it kinda hurts to smoke,
but you'll know if it really goes bad because itll give you a gnarly headache when you smoke it.
If it still smells dank its good to go, itll last a few weeks if you keep it sealed well
 
it depends on how you store it, darker more air tight storage places makes the weed last longer.
 
yeah just get a small glass jar thats airtight and it'll last a few weeks before getting too dry Id say, never had it last that long
 
hah well the reason i ask is because the last stuff i had was dry as hell and hard to smoke, and i barely felt a buzz

but i picked up some today that looks amazing, i'll try to store it better this time i guess
 
One time a couple friends left a bag in a doggybag style styrofoam container in a ditch in bumfuck nowhere. One year later they came back, it was still there and they smoked it. And it was still good. This fucking girl gave me weed in a previously used plastic bottle, no bag or anything. It got damp, and stayed that way for over a week til I blazed the MOLDY FUCKING WEED in Whistler. Intermanet says that might kill you but I'm still here
 
I've never made a sack last me more than 3 days so I'm not sure. If it smells like weed and looks like weed then it must be good enough to smoke yada mean

Weed lasts for a long time. It just gets dry over time. Old weed burns really well, but hurts to smoke. Weed is in its prime for about 30 days after the drying process. So take your time, smoke bongs for the weed to last longer because...well, weed can be expensive.
 
ive never seen/ experianced weed that has "gone bad" i figure for the most part its just kids wanting to sound like drug experts for their friends. weed can get real dry and be kinda harsh but just use a bong or somthing and it wont matter
 
this. I store it in a jar. It may not last years, but you're fine for a few weeks at the least. And unless you have a ton that should be fine.
 
Airtight glass in a cold spot is the best to preserving your buds. But if your a casual smoker, leaving it in a bag is fine. It will dry out a bit but as long as its not super shitty, it will be fine and not too harsh.
 
put a piece of an orange peel in the bag to keep things fresh. if you're going a long time then put an orange peel in and put it in your fridge.
 
the thc on it goes bad or whatever and loses potency. when u wanna smoke thats when u should buy. dont buy in hopes u find a good time to smoke. thats usually what i do.
 
just make sure its cured properly. i've had quarters of KB grow mold in less then a week, then something that people grew/cured properly/with care you can have nugs be fine for months, of course if they are packaged correctly. if its pretty damp/spongey just put it in a jar or bag and let that sit open for a day or two.
 
Don't ever store in anything but plastic bags(get an old mason jar or something similar. Higher end jar such as Tight Vacs are good idea, just made sure to keep it out of the light), because plastic bags remove the trichromes from the bud (So if there are no trichromes, good luck getting high)
 
this. i had a quarter o that i had for about a month, when it started getting dry i put a grapefruit peel in a jar with it for a day er two and it was perfect and tastes great
 
If properly dried and cured cannabis will stay good in an airtight jar in a cool, dark place for years. The orange peel trick works great fro lending a little moisture to super dry weed. Just make sure to open the jar once a day or so to prevent any possible molding. Happy toking
 
i know everyone here is buying legally so just go to a better dispensary. They'll give you your bud in a little glass jar. problem solved haha
