How Long does it take you to Crochet Something?

Would it be wierd for a dude to start knitting or whatever, cuz i just saw what some of these ladies made and theyve made some awsome shit thatd sell for like 30 bucks, and i kind of want to learn now...

i knit, and make hats in about an hour anda half, some guys think its weird till they see the sick ass hat you spit out.

^^^no. my skier friend knits, and hes really good at it. and my other skier friend crochets... and hes the one that taught me to crochet. so its deff not gay for a guy to knit/crochet.
