so the other day i noticed alot of people at my hill that i thought were intament skiers only stay at the hill for about 4-5 hours where i find my self at the hill 7-10 hours everytime i ski..so how long is your average day?

i logged 14.5 hours a day for saturday sunday monday and tuesdayim obv beat as fuck but so worth it i ski all day weekends and like 330 to 10 on weekdays

as long as possible, with the school we go from about 5:00 - 10:30, with my friends ussually from about noonish till about 8 or 9

so true ^^^ my mountain is like five mins away from where i live.. and my pass is way past paid off now, so i just go, if it is good ill stay 7-10 hours or just sesh something for a while and leave... all depends on conditions and people

The bus drops me off at 8:30 I get skiing by 9, I take about :30 for lunch and the bus leaves at 4:15 so I usually ski until 3:45. So almost 7 hours.

yeah i live in chicago so i take advantage of anytime i can ski.. so usually from open to 6. well in the midwest we have half day prices. so ill buy i half day but they dont check so sometimes i ski the whole day.

8am-5pm but theres probably 2 hours worth of cigarette/get high/drink a beer/food breaks in there. If I have work I leave at like 2pm though.

if i go after school 4:30-9:00

on weekends i go from 10:00-9:00

i also usually never take any breaks unless its a 10-9 day. (BITCH IM HARDCORE)

1-4hours tops, its a 25min drive and usually up there 3-5times a week, never really wanted to stay long enough to be totally beat the next day

i love my ski days

I arrive at 830.. go inside to put my stuff down.Take my time putting my stuff on but still with that excitement everytime to get out and go. Usually im next to the fire place so thats a dank spot that will play out for lunch.

Ill shred till 1130 then come in and have a mellow lunch break and just shoot the shit next to the fire take about 15-20 mins

go back out ski the day away tll 4:00 go in pack up get out at 4:25

so about 7 good fun filled hours

i usually catch first tracks (7-730 depending the mountain) until last tracks (430-5 depending on mountain) so thats a solid 10 hours on good days, with a breakfast stop at like 1030 until 11 then a lunch stop from like 2-245

9-1 or 9-3 or 9-11 so between 2 aand 5 hours
theres no point in just skiing groomers for hours, and once the pows gone im done

Well, it all depends on the day. Pow days ill ski 9-3 easy, but some park days, especially week days, ill ski 12-1 until 3-4. I usually don't ski less than 2-3 hours though. Fucking 10 hours though? Fuck that's intense.

.........................why dont you have a seat over there.

exactly. not gonna lie, but if the parks closed for some reason, i wont ski very long at all and it usually depends on how the snow is.
The weather is also a huge factor on how long i ski. If its a nice sunny day to night, i'll ski for as long as i can. But if its snowing and cloudy and the sun goes down so the vision is shit, i'll definitely cut it shorter. And if its fuckin freezing, i just won't enjoy skiing at all and i'll be skiing shorter

8 hours or so on a good powpow day, however i really like having a nice little 3-4 hour evening park sesh. doesn't kill your whole day (can still work, hit school, whatever), and you dont need to worry about eating arrangements or anything like that. just go out, rip with your buddies, and head home for a few brewskis. that's a perfect day for me, personally, and of course that's provided the hill isnt packed

i basically agree, except that weather rarely affects my skiing choice. i can and often do ski from open to close, w/o any breaks...when there is good enough pow to warrant putting that kinda energy into it. but if there's shitty snow, and no park (basically there is no park where i ski), we'll ski for just as long as we're feeling it.

90% of the time 1st chair to as close to last as I can get. Now that doesn't mean I hit it hard every minute I'm on the mountain.

meh usually from 11 or noon to close. not much of an early riser. unless its a pow day.

its different when you ski mostly every day. its hard on your body to go all day every day.
