How long do you like your poles?

I like them to be tall enough that my arm is almost fully extended when the pole is in the snow
 
fuck poles i normally dont ski with them but i need them for my job. i rock em short and i dont think ive had a pair that have been the same length. right now im rockin a miss matched pair of poles from when my mom was a kid prolly between 30-40 inches. retro shit yall
 
I'm guessing a little over 30 for me. I usually just chop them down until they are around my hips and feel right for park.

I found that generally about 90-105 was what most kids were buying for park. Some did want them shorter and we did cut a few pairs down every year. The main issue was finding decent poles under 100cm. For the cost of a set of the poles the 15 min it takes to cut them down is not time well spent when the shop is busy.

Overall though by far the most purchased size range was 115-125cm with a few 130 and 135cm sets every year. But defiantly the most were 120-125.

I worked at the performance lab in whis, so we had a good mixture of skiers through the doors.
 
im 6'0 and I cut my dumpster poles to 37". They are perfect for park but on pow days I wish they were more like 40" or so.
 
I'm 5'9", 36" or 38" for park idk. and then for pow I have adjustable ones, no idea how tall they are but a few inches shorter than a traditional pole for someone my height.
