How long do you keep your bindings for?

How long do you guys keep your bindings for? If im gettin new skis should i get new bindings too?

depends on the condition or if you like them. ive had pairs for 4 seasons, 1 season, it all depends.

Keep them as long as you can (provided you're happy with them), that's just one less expense.

both my markers and look bindings are going into there 3rd season later this year.

but i might buy a new pair coz i just like having new bindings with new skis.

my old ones I got 4 seasons out of and im on my first season on some new deadbolts and I think there lasting for at least a little while

Depends, if your riding bindings with a 5 din.. Chances are you should change them. But if you've got like Scratch 120's or something, they should last quite a while.

I still have my Marker Twincams.... only because they have DIN 14. They are pretty old... but the springs are still strong. Besides the oldschool red/white paintjob... and oil/dirt... Im keeping them. Maybe install a plate underneath...next season. Bought New Boots this year... I had to crank the back binding about 1cm forward to fit for release. So I guess they are "off center"... by 1 centimeter... dont care.

I use mine until they break... unless I want to leave them on my old pair of skis for urban... then I buy a new pair.

after a few seasons of hard beatings and if you notice the stylle has changed by that company for their new bindings ask a shop to look in ther books to see if the binding is still supported, which it usually is unless its more than 10 years old, otherwise you can have them do a binding function test beginning of each season to make sure they still pass certain tests and are releasing properly

The Rossis and Look binding are fricking durable. Mine are Rossignol FKS 155 something like 2004(they're gold) and not planning of changing them anytime soon. The Salomon, Tyrolia bindings I had weren't quite as durable so for those, I'd change them with the skis. They're also easier to sell with the bindings.

until i replace every part on them. so I never have to buy new ones cause i have a new pair once I replace every part.
