How long do we have?

im not going to lie id love to stay 16 forever but the truth is i wont. so how long do all of you think you will be newschooling for?

i mean we arent going to be sliding rails and hucking off tables when we are like 50. so my question is at what age do you think you will stop doing all of it?
 
I'm gonna shred to the day I die.

I worked on a mountain, work-week at school in the winter, and the guy in the cablecar we took everyday up to the snow is 66 years and last year he pulled a backflip on a 7-8 meter jump, and he smokes a s hell. Then when he tried a 2nd backflip he took the wrong jump and broke his back. Bu heæs still skiing and working.
 
i've been here for almost 3 years and i thought this was just a phase and i'd be off ns but i see no end to it in my near future. it's my life. sad, i know.

READ THIS ONE IT IS FOOD FOR EATING. well the probelm with that ? is that what if we run out of snow like if that happens hell no ponit in skiing right but ya i well be jibing until iam in a wheel chair because of it .
 
i shall go till i cant walk...look at seth, hes 30+ years old(i think)and hes still hucking massive backflips off 80 foot cliffs
 
im going to be that 30 year old dad who still park skis and mountain bikes...with a hot wife that i bang every day while the kids are out at play
 
most people are in their prime until their early 30s. My dad's 50 and he's on nordica's freeride team. He still competes all the time. I plan to ski hard until it's physically impossible.
 
the guy who owns obermeyer is super old and still does huge rails and shii, i saw it in a magazine.
 
I am 30 going on 31 and just started newschooling a year and a bit ago. As you get older, you tend to take less risk and don't quite recover from injuries as fast but you can still keep hitting the park and have fun.
 
My grandfather took his last run at the same mountain he learned to ski, oh yeah he is a 80... I will be skiing for a bit longer...

One more thing though. I went to HN for the past two years and, at the age of 30 and holding down a job as an investment banker, I took a LOT of teasing about going to "ski camp" from my colleagues. I must look even older to the kids in the camp as one of the girls told me I was the "coolest 34 year old she has met." Maybe I am having a mid life crisis, I did just buy a longboard skateboard and I never was even on a skateboard before high north this year...
 
i dont know i think ill be skiing for a long time. my dad who is like 45 still hits small 15 foot tables and i taught my mom boxes last year cause she didnt get what was so fun about them. So to me doesnt seem like theres really an end i probly just wont charge as hard as i do now but ill still always freeski.

I think once I move out west and I get older like 30's, it will start to phase out slowly. i will want to ski powder more than park.
 
ill stop doing rails and stuff wen i have my kids and after i finish teaching them how to ski and do jumps and rails, ill probably just ski with them in the park and film them

i think after 40 is when ill stop trying shit i could hurt myself badly on, after 35 i wont get any better, and after 50 ill still be doing little poopy things for fun.
 
I've been moving away from park stuff and a lot more into big mountain. I used to be way into jumping, but now I have a lot more fun straightlining stuff and hucking cliffs.
 
good call on the blunts, but on occasion they are good.

I say as long as your not the old dude riding half way up the hips and jumping out to flat, you're still cool! that shit is sooo gay. no offence to the gays.
 
im friends with this guy thats 37 and he owns me at inline skating. hes got a am sponcership and we normaly go to the asa comps in the east every year and hes always drunk but he still throws down. i wanna be just liek him. i ski till i die
