Im 5'10 and I have 42' poles, But I like short poles.
I'm using 130s, but I should be using 125s... the 130s are the only pair I have left. They're race, poles, too.

^^^^^ to whoever wanted to buy shorter poles, you can just cut em. Pull handle off, cut pole, put handle back on. Or take em to a shop and they'll do it for free or real cheap.

and to short.. well then u could simply leave them home, they r no use..

to be cool, as a rule of thumb, your poles should be roughly the length of your skis.
