How is Tanner Hall's movie, Believe?

Is the skiing amazing? Is it mainly Tanner Hall? How is Sean Petits part? Is there any park? Does it compare to any other movies?
 
what happened to the bigger picture? did tanner just ditch that and start making his own vids or what?
 
its really good, i've watched it at work a couple times, the skiing is great. not as good as idea, but pretty close. chill soundtrack, lots of tree shots, mostly tree shots, lots of ARG
 
Just watched it and I must say it was pretty damn amazing...exceeded my expectations for sure. Sick pillow lines,

bc pow/tree shots, Seth slaying AK, not to mention his insane 100 ft dub-front, and not a single park edit. Tanner is actually a decent big line rider in the movie, the soundtrack was real chill, overall it was a good movie. My only complaint was it felt like it ended too soon.
 
Its about 22 minutes long and has some SICK SICK SICK pow and bc lines, but leaves you wanting more- not in a good way. Tanner Hall is amazing, there's no doubt about it, but this movie doesnt cut it. No jumps, no rails, no park, I'm sorry but there is absolutely nothing that anyone outside of Tanner and his pro skier brahs can really relate to. Send this one straight to OLN with the TGR series.
 
pft...such a contradiction man. "SICK SICK SICK pow and bc lines" = SICK SICK SICK movie. Nuff said, go rack yourself on a rail kiddo.
 
the skiing was amazing. but most the music was terrible, they tried to make it sooooo fucking epic with the music and editing that it turned out pretty gay, it reminded me alot of a warren miller movie or something, or like if the discovery channel made a ski movie.

it is worth buying though just because of the crazy good skiing, like seths double frontflip off that like 100ft. cliff.

the petit's segment was my favorite, it actually had a good song.

and what the hell was with that one extremely shitty rap song? it was like some really pissed off shitty white rapper bitching about his parents, and for some reason they played that song to powder skiing, wtf?
 
thats basically the same thing you said about idea who cares about what songs they use they may be annoying but you dont have to bitch over everyone
 
i didnt say anything bad about the idea movie, i said the music was wierd and different but still good, and it fit the movie perfectly. idea was amazing!

some of the songs in believe were good, but most of the songs and editing toghether gave the movie a really depressing/dramatic feeling, the movie was just trying to be soooo epic and serious.

i would listen to most the music alone, but almost none of them fit with the movie. and you have to admit that that angry rap song was a horrible choice.

its still worth buying just for the skiing though.

 
wski was awesome, thats what i want tanner to go back to, it was more about having a fun time and stuff rather than how ExtReEeM and serious they are, i doubt when they are doing crazy sick stuff in such awesome places they are thinking how serious and important it is, im pretty sure they are all peeing their pants with FUN!

tanner keeps changing his mind on how he wants his movies, wski was all fun and goofy, pyb was way gangster, show and prove was like a documentary, and believe is supposed to be "epic" or something
 
sounds like the movie has a lot of sweet pow riding, but I really hate movies with no park in it. park is just mad fun to watch, especially when it's someone like tanner who you know could slay park and put together a sweet park edit in like a week of filming. oh well, maybe i'll watch it some time but definately not spending money on it.
 
Meh the only reason I would ever get it, is if the intire movie is like the last segment from Show and prove, that was the only segment that was not horrible in that movie.
 
I'd like to see this movie to see what all the hype about some of the lines in it are all about. Skiing powder is the shit, i want to see how the ARG's preform with the topguns riding them.
 
i agree show and prove was dope but they talking about cr all the time got annoying. more songs, less talking wouldve made it sick!
 
When Wski came out most people didn't like it much, are people all over it now just because Iberg did it. Stereotype was amazing, but Wski wasn't too great.
 
i thought dubski was sick for the most part, and i'm probably one of the least thuggish ghetto-fied dudes on here.

but 22 minutes for believe is rather short for a $30 flick.
 
Damn, 22 minutes? I wish I had known that before I shelled out $30 for it :-( I would have preferred to have gotten Yeah Dude!
 
it was very dramatic. some awesome jealousy-provoking lines. one song really didn't fit in and got very annoying though i must say. and more seth would have been good too.

definitely some tree and pillow lines that are drool-worthy.

basically half the movie is tanner, with no park. think his closing seg in tbc times 5 and spread out through a very long, very sick oakley commercial. not worth the full 30 bones (the extras are real weak) but was definitely a must-see-at-least-once flick,.

the shitty thing is i went into jibij to buy idea and the last copy had got sold yesterday. pity.
