im just wondering if the siver pants and jacket are good because i just got a new pair of north face pants for 150$ n they suck they riped the first day so i want somthing that is pretty durable

I hear the pants are pretty sweet. And they look even better. Backcountry.com has them for 91 dollars.

it seems pretty nice
the only bad thing ive heard is that the waterproofing isnt outstanding
skiing should be like mcdonalds...sure they started out with just hamburgers, them they progressed to breakfest sandwiches and salads and mcflurries. we all love the new stuff, but we still love the old stuff as well. so its a good thing they still offer the hambrugers with their mc flurries and breakfast combos -joeengel

my ten 4 jacket is the shit. so good infact im about to order some tactical pants. i havent gotten to put the waterproofing to the test yet(it is extremely windproof though for being just a shell). the jacket has to be the most functional one ive ever seen i use every part of it from the crazy front pocket w/ cd/mp3 player compartment to the full armpit zips. best money ive spent in a while and i expect the pants to be just as good
