I've got a school trip on Saturday, I was wondering how their setup was. thanks for anything. pics would be awesome but don't worry about it. i doubt anyone would have many pics anyway.

icccccey

as for the park they have some fairly large jumps, I actually did see many kids clear them successfully when i was there

I was up there on Friday, and frankly, was a little disappointed. My pass was blacked out at mount snow, so I thought I'd give it a try. I can see why they stress "family fun", because they don't have a whole lot else to work with. The groomers all feel the same.

For the park, they had a decent setup of a flat 2 kink, split c-rail, down box, down flat bar, dinosaur roller coaster, 3 25 foot tables, choice elevated flat rail of 30 ft. or a step-up of 30 ft. Finally a 35 ft. booter and a rainbow box, with a weird bus wallride. All this was spread over a long, steep run, so not the best placement. The mini park was quite mini, with jumps and rails all ten feet. Overall, decent variety, but long lift lines and too spread out.

They took a while to get everything set up this year, but everything is finally started to pull together and it's lookin nice. they have some nice sized jumps, including a 45 ft table, a staircase jib, and they put in a schoolbus this year.

alrighty, instead of preparing for my math final, I'm gonna give you the rundown of all the Okemo parks

in the Dew Zone jib park, right gy the super pipe, the line consists of a butter box to down box, a round concrete bonk thing, 15/20 ft jump (your choice of lip) 20 ft. PVC tube, box, c-box

in the new medium park on Lower Timberline, it starts off with a wider box, a smaller rainbow rail, and then you have the option of three 20 ft. ish jumps or a flatbar and another flat box

on Nor'easter, the biggest park, it starts off with a f/u/f, a y rail (goes straight, then curves to left or right, your choice) option of a down box or down rail, f/d rail, option of box or corrugated pipe, into a 3 jump line, all about 20-30 ft.(ish) then option of a flat box or up box, then option of flat box or 50 ft. (I think) f/d, then a 40 ft. flat off to the side, then a two jump line, a 40 into a 45 okemo claims, I guess it's reasonable, then a wierd angle box thing off to the side, a nice rainbow box, stairset with option of f/d box, down box, or d/f/d rail, and then the new weird bus wall-ride thing. The whole park is real fun.

ill get back to u on that one. it prolly has a LOT of SHITTY features which idk can be fun, but id reather have a few sick boots

yeah right now id say okemo has only one fun booter in over a mile worth of trail (noreaster is about 1.25 miles long i think)

Hopefully they make all of their jumps bigger casue the oens up top resemble those of hot dog hill.

theres so much trail and so few features.

i personally hate okemo. always bad conditions, always crowded. i hate the base area layout, like how you have to take one of two lifts to get anywhere. it's an alright mountain midweek, but i'm not a fan of it during weekends/holidays

I'll be there saturday. I was there once earlier this season but they didn't have much set up then. I'm looking forward to seeing all the new stuff. I kinda like how its a really long run so you can do a lot of shit in one run. the long lift line at the bottom though...not so fun.
