Jon is also a professional racer in a european circuit if I'm correct, and in Europe, racing is a big deal and the pro racers make a good living racing.

this is clearly a fake, and that shot was never in the movie. besides, that is not an empire gun, the body of the speederbike is too big and the armour is missing a few pieces. but im too lazy to look for a better pic, so im going to stfu and gtfo.

Everyone here seems to think that his only forms of income are ski related. I am sure he does all sorts of other stuff that we do not hear about because it has nothing to do with skiing.
 
although that could be a reason the 2 pounds a radio weighs is not the main reason why.....its a statement that they not only made a car but a musical instrument.
