My school is doing a Spring Break trip out to Jackson Hole this March. I go to Wisconsin and I really want to go on the trip. Anyone have anything to say about how the season is going out in Wyoming? Obviously, I know the skiing will be spectacular - just curious what ya'll have to say. Thanks a lot.

They've already received (I believe) 21 feet of snow so far this season. Yeah, I think it'll be good

When are you going?

My ski club is also going and it's our 10 year anniversary so all of us that live out west(graduates) will be traveling there too.

We will be skiing March 15th - March 20th. I hear a lot of schools are out there at the same time! Should be a blast. When will you be there?

Nah, week after 23-29th?. But yeah, should be a blast. If you've got a car take a day off of jackson and ski targahee, toats worth the hour and half drive.

Funny you say that! there is an optional day to ski Targahee for like $40. So you're saying I should do it?

FUCKING DUH! In all reality I knew a couple years ago you could do a 2 for 1 tuesday and that would work too if your jackson passes are 4 out of 5 or 6 days (aka let you skip a day of riding).

If you have avy gear targahee will deliver, it will regardless but if you want to earn some turns they'll be well worht it.

The cliff band running parallel above the Sacajawea lift is maybe the best thing ever.

Hoofers spring break break trip?! If so, always a good time, I graduated from UW-Madison last year but never was able to make it on the trip. Had a ton of friends that did it every year and they made me regret it every year. Live in Montana now and skied jackson for a couple days in january - it was awesome! No matter what your snow conditions are, you will have a grand ol' time with all the people you have there.

Its been dumping here for a while now, with no signs of stopping!

If youre looking for hike to terrain/sidecountry, Targhee isnt where you want to go. There is some cool terrain off the Sac lift, but its not all that. Jackson has waaaay more hike to inbounds, not to mention left accessed inbounds, THEN you have the sidecounty and backcountry all around!
