How is hood now?

hey me and 4 of my friends are thinking of driving up to hood. is it still good now? we would leave in a couple days. is it worth like 600 bucks and like 16 hours of driving each way?
what all is setup in the public park?
 
I'm headed there in a week. I'm hoping it is good too.

someone should lets us know how it is.
 
There is a fairly recent update in the regional Oregon forum. Timberline is (or was) on weather hold earlier today and the mountain is totally socked in now at 2:00PM. My brother and I are probably going to go up and hike the park tomorrow if the weather clears and I will post an update in the regionals if we can make it there.
 
Things are still pretty good. The pipe is a little beat from a day of rain, however I believe they are about to move it further up the hill. You can't currently get back to the lift from the public park without some hiking.
 
The magic mile lap is kinda shit now, you'd be hiking probably 90% of the time now on public....
 
its still frikin sick man...
We are still up there every weekend :)... oh and buy some koncept tall tees while your up there :).
