How is Dennis_Reynolds up for MOTM?

Ive been away from ns for a little bit due to skiing only checking periodically. But Wtf how is this kid in the running?
 
I used to care about MOTM then I started noticing all the people getting elected and its just stupid. NS ruins another great idea.

What do you mean "NS ruins another great idea"? We don't choose who MOTM candidates, they are based on algorithms that include karma, photo/video scores, thread scores, etc. I'm assuming Dennis_Reynolds got picked due to a couple threads he made with lots of views and upvotes along with his xchange/karma score which has spiked over the last month.

Oh I understand. I meant the populace. There are always a few good members elected but the stupid ones (no offense) always get elected because people dont give a shit

*get picked because people upvote their content and give them high karma scores. If people just downvoted/gave out low karma for stupid stuff, then it would be different, but people enjoy members like Dennis_Reynolds so they upvote.

misread karma as kendama.. pictured an entire battle that had each member do the best kendama tricks they have learned. Very disappointed when I realized I was wrong.
 
Dennis reynolds hasn't earned his stripes yet. Like 50% of his posts are pics/gifs and reddit tier humor cause it gets him up votes. I post hilarious, beautifully worded post with the occasional meme and I don't get shit.
