How is Big Sky & Bridger Bowl?

I might be going out there at the end of December but last year I heard they didnt have much snow. Does anyone know if these mountains are any good and when is the best time to go out?

 
a lot of the west didn't have good snow last year but next year i'm skiing for big sky and bridger bowl...they're both sick mtns. i've heard..but then again i'm from the east what would i know

i have been to both many times and i like big sky better...but maybe thats just me

big sky is sweet for some big mt. lines, the park is not up to par...they do have a pipe (9ft. walls) with and a couple of rails and tables, but dont plan to go to big sky for the park, or u will leave dissapointed, the pow was good when i was there and the peak is great. there is barely any town but just a couple restaruants and a couple bullshit stores, no real ski shopps. its a good area but it is lacking some stuff

 
I'm going to Montana State next year. i hope the skiing is good. I went to BigSky when i was like 12, i thinl i liked it.

They both kick ass and I've been there in Dec. when it's dumping...I think that Jan-March are better but you should be okay...

I prefer Bridger, it's smaller, less popular and a lot steeper in the right places...Big sky is HUGE and has a lot to offer but I like low key, core places and Bridger is on my list of favorites...

 
brider is my home mountain. i love it. theres super sick trails. and the ridge is awsome on powder days. and if you hit up out of bounds areas kids build massive kickers and tree jibs. bridger is by far better than big sky b/c there are no lines and most people who ski there are local not the texans on vacation.

Big sky duz have a park but its nothing great. the lifts are faster, there is more terrine, but there are more people. if you ski at big sky you need to check out the tram, the dictator chutes and the big coulior.

big sky just got a new park and i hear its pretty kick ass....the pipe is huge...they got a new pipe dragon...its sick as hell

if they have enough snow then the park will be all together by the middle of december, but this year there was lack of snow so it was january
