How i miss skiing

so i was at my job today bored as hell like always and it's 90 degrees F outside and i strted to think that the only thing that really makes my day is just coming back home checkin newschoolers out and just thinking about skiing and how the next season its gonna be... so to all you guys that are injured or going thorugh summer just like me or even just somewhere where you can't ski think about the season to come and how much fun it's going to be... and for all you guys that have the luck to be skiing right now ENJOY it man stop the hate and just have fun and do it YOUR OWN WAY if its in the park or in some pow pow or even joking around in the green runs with your crew remember that we do this because we like it... damn i love skiing

yah im in winter season right now and its been good so far but lately its been warm and raining so right now i just gotta lokk forward to more snow and hope fora good season
 
Great fucking post. Kids need to learn that while they're bitching about everything in the middle of a great winter some of us are stuck in Summer misery and can only dream of getting out on the snow.
 
i feel you, i'm out this season, having just had a shoulder surgery with a recover time of 4-6 months. My best hope is that there will be snow left in may and/or june otherwise i'll be looking at summer sessions and eventually november
 
went from ski resort being only 40 minutes away in NJ ( Mountain Creek.)

to now 4 hours to a place 3x as worst than Mountain Creek, with no challenge.

or 8 hour drives to a place with some challenge.

Went from 80+ days on slope.... to about 15 if Im lucky.

To paying for flights and all that shit to ski something better.

Went from having a crew of 12 rabid skier posse.

to talking to locals about skiing... only to realize these idiots thought i was talking about WATER skiing.

and Im not getting any younger.

Fuck South Carolina in the goat ass... Im transfering somewhere else next semester.
 
Oh that's right it's summer in Chile.

See I just got through summer, and now I'm enjoying the hell out of my season.

Skiing is my life, it's so fun to just ride with your friends, pull shenanigans, and just have a ton of doofy fun with your crew. It also feels really good to learn new stuff and stomp the shit out of it.

Be patient.
 
dude, great post. I'm absolutely obsessed with skiing, like INSANELY.. I'm in love, i think about it most of the day. I think about more than anything else right now, yeah im gay with skiing. I want to marry it.

lol im serious, its already a pain just to think about the fact that there is roughly only 3 months left of skiing for me, and that i cant be on the slopes everyday. Im seriously thinking about just being a ski bum, not go to college, just work summer and ski winter. ive gone crazy. My grades dropping, social life is dropping, but i keep on liking skiing more. Its an addiction worse then anything i know.

ps. I love you snow, i love you planks of wood, plastic, and metal, I love you tectonic plates for creating mountains, i love you H20 so you can become snow, i love you sun so you can evaporate the ocean for h20, I love you earth for providing everything else, this list is endless for me.
 
Very refreshing...i wish it would get nicer here in Montreal...conditions are horrid and i miss skiing so badly, also screwed up and swollen ass knee is killing it for me, bring on the good vibes and the karma
