How I got beat up and what should I do

Story. a group of friends and myself went to someones house the size of a castle. We were all having fun. We dare this one girl to slap one of my good friends in the face with peanut butter on her hand. My other friend filmed it. She went down the stairs and, walked up behind him and when he turned around, she slapped the shit out of him. He turns, gets up and starts punching my friends in the head, but he fights him off. Then the kid, who turned physco. Start running at me just chillin in the corner minding my own business and starts to punch me then tackles me. Im not generally an angry person and didnt try to fight my friend. So he continues to punch me, then slams my head into the ground, my friend heard it from upstairs and cam running down the stairs and tackled that kid who just fucked me up. and they were going at it. I went up stairs with some girls who cleaned the blood off and gave me ice. I drove home in anger right away. Then the kid tries to text me saying sorry and it was a mistake 20 mins after. No fucking way its ok. I will see him every day at soccer now and i dont want to associate but now he keeps trying to say sorry. He would have killed me if no one came to get him off me so im still so pissed.

Im interested to see what you nsers think I should do.

if someone slapped me with peanut butter i would be pissed as well. i think you guys deserved what happened and should deal with it
 
grow the fuck up and accept his apology. you guys got some bitch to slap the shit out of him with peanut butter in her hand. don't act so innocent. did he over react? yeah, he did, but put it behind you.
 
The thing is, I was not apart of it in any way, he just snapped and decided to beat me up. Wrong place wrong time.

alright well in your first post you said "we" dared a girl to do it. i assume the reason you made a girl do it was because you knew if it was a guy he would have got punched instantly. i have seen multiple people react the same way except with mayo. i would say just accept his apology and move on.
 
If you weren't seriously hurt and his apology is sincere, be a man, shake his hand and get over it. That or get a couple pairs of boxing gloves and settle it that way.
 
Your mistake was not fighting back when you had the chance. At this point you have to move on because you did get him bitch slapped with peanut butter.
 
i wish i could quote more than one person at a time. everyone who has posted a somewhat serious reply is correct. learn to let things go and grow up, it sounds like the kid feels bad about how he reacted so accept his apology and say sorry yourself. you were apart of it, you were aware of what was happening and did nothing to stop it. you bear partial responsibility even if you dont want it. take a self defense class.

Well the bitch slapped him, so it's her fault. Accept his apology and beat the shit out of the girl together as a bonding moment. It's optional to forcibly pee in her butt too, but that might be considered rape.
 
Don't use that excuse of "oh, I wouldn't fight my friend" just because you got beat down by the guy.

And don't fuck things up for your team, that's the main thing here. You pass and play like you normally would. Off the field do whatever you like.
 
Punch him in the face, pick him up, call him a cunt and shake hands.

If you're gonna have to see him every day, figure something out because otherwise its just going to make you hate something you love to do.

OT: Just accept the damn apology, its not not that hard. I don't think what he did had any greater consequences (as in bigger injury and so on), so just put it behind you... Stuff like that happens

This pissed me off the most bc hes really awkward towards me now at practices and we were expected to go really far in the league.

That's why you don't do that shit. Lesson learned, accept the apology and maybe boot him in the nuts to call it even.
