He CAN do sick 7 tail and cork 7, he is a sick pipe skier who can do cork 5 and 7 in pipe and he is a amazing big mountain skier too. He is sponsored not because of his age but because of his style and skill. His level of sponsorship is higher because of his age but he does have all the skills to back it up...other than the fact that he is a lippy little shit sometimes, he is a very talented well deserving skier.

k guys, kye is a super cool kid who can rip and who has also worked pretty damn hard at getting these sponsors. I think most of you miss the point of being sponsored and how Kye is able to be sponsored. Your forget that companies sponsor riders to promote their product. Rossi and Oakley both make kids gear, so why not get one of the best rippers out there to promote their gear.

kye gets sponsored because his sponsors know he is gonna be one hell of a skier after puberty. Also, this guy has almost unlimited resources. He skis the best hills, and he is supported by his parents. and sox ripper, from what i have seen, there are tons of ppl who posted videos of tricks, kye cant even do. I said he looks like a girl, because of some stupid advertisement that tries to make him look like a man, but fails miserably.

Seriously, this saddens me. Number one and most important kye and his mom are my personal friends and to hear anyone talk this amount of shit about one of my friends fuckin sucks. I don't even need to back up kye or his skills, he'll do that for himself. He's a really great kid and a really great skier and everyone will find that out soon enough and thats all that matters. Nothing kye has done has been simply given to him, he has earned everything himself and his mom will continue to make sure of that. I can't think of anyone who will be more prepared to rule the world than kye peterson. And seriously, if any of you were in skiing a few years ago when trevor was around (which you probably weren't still being in diapers and all) you would know that he is a god and his blood has clearly been passed on. It's called respect, I hope all of you learn it the hard way.

kye is most definately sick, ive seen him throw down in whistler the few times ive been there and hes dope, but there is definately more young talent out there, such as a kid i know, mike henitiuk, who can definately throw as weel as kye, but i think kye has just been in the right place at the right time. there are a few pros like that. but for sure he rips, but theres more talent out there and that rossi ad? doesnt explain kye at all, that rail was on the snow, i didnt think it was a very good ad, its just reppin rilla

I'm Austin Ross. I'm 14. I ski on the same Rossignol and Oakley team as Kye Petersen (13). This kid is not only my team mate, he's been my closest friend since we were both in diapers. We used to play GI Joes up in his room after skiing every weekend, and when he came to my house we set up bike jumps in my yard with pieces of plywood and rail road tracks.

We grew up together and we ski with eachother all the time. We've both helped eachother out with new tricks, adjusting style, learning names, even girls and stuff. I had just got off the phone with him when I noticed this thread. I makes me very dissapointed when people that don't know this kid personally sterotype and pre judge him based on what little facts or 'rumours' they've heard about him.

I truly belive that he deserves ever bit of credit he gets from companies. He has been working his way into the ski industry lil by lil for the last few seasons, with me, and the rest of the Blackcomb crew by his side. He can definately throw down with the best of them. And it really doesn't matter what trick he can or can't do, by tomorrow he will have learned another one anyway.

My advice to you people who don't know Kye personally or have never skied with him is: wait until he comes to your resort, slays you hill, and tames your ass in the park and the rest of the mountain before you go around showing off how ignorant you are.

Things like this only put pressure on people. Kye already has enough on his mind without having to worry about showing off to a bunch of computer nerds. Honestly, he would read this and laugh. Then we'd both catch the bus into town and pick up some women at the 7-11 (just the way Reddy showed us)...

he's 4 years old, 2'9' tall, 37 pounds. he was born without arms. he skis a pair of 210cm, non twintipped skis. he can throw switch 1260 true tails witch he tweaks out with his mouth. hes super sweat.
