How Good Are Concepts?

Basic

Im thinking of getting a pair, maybe candides, but i ride 60% groomed and ice and 40% park... i need something that can rip and carve but has some good pop on jumps and pipe, also i need something semi stiff so it isnt shaky at speeds on hardpack or ice, its gotta be able to hold an edge, but i definatly want a twin so no bandit xx or anything.... TroubleMakers or FS's are an option also... so basically All Mountain East Coast Skis, and try to speek from experience with the ski...

Whoever thought 'gee i wonder if i can ride down an icy hill with wooden planks strapped to my feet?' is a genius...

I have ridden my Candides about 35 days so far this year. They are awesome of hits, spinning, and stable landings. Living in Wisconsin, I think that I ride on just as much ice as the next guy. These grip on ice just as well as my Bandit X that I had last year. Just remember that no twin (anything built for park) is going to be as stable at high speeds as a good all-mountain ski. The Candide (concept) is probably the stiffest twin on the market, but it does lose to the Bandit on high-speed stuff.

But if you want a stable twin that you can ski on ice, the concept is the way to go.

if your looking for a twin like that id say go for the concepts, i had em for awhile, now they're my rail skis cause i broke em but for what your skiing they'd be sick as hell, i broke em on rails, but if your not doing too many rails, they are tight!

Theyre fucking great. Even with really really dull edges, i can still hold an edge fine.

Buy some. Now.

Pacific Boarder in Vancouver has them for $325. Last years Green ones, with the jungle graphics.

You could always send me money then I buy them and send them out... but you probably wouldn't trust some person you don't know over the internet.

i have a pair of 180 concepts and absolutely love them, they rip everywhere from all mountain to crud to moguls to park, theyre fuckin great i say go for it!!!!!!

concepts own for everything other than powder, with a 72 waist you either lean far far back, or you sink
