Okay, so I was at the mighty Arizona ski resort, and I am cruising through the park (three runs to choose from total). Well, throughtout the day, groups of beginner raid the park and begin to tear up the already worthless jumps, completely desolating the lips. About mid day, a group of boarders fix one of the jumps(there are only two) and form a barricade around it.

Back to when I was cruising, I see the jump guards step aside to allow a boarder hit the jump. He attempts to spin, but goes off axis and wrecks.

Meanwhile, I approach the jump, but the jump guards step infront with their boards as shields. They dont budge. So I stop and ask them nicely.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!! and they reply, "we only let kids hit the jump who we think look like they are any good." So I say," I am better than any of you, so if you don't move, I will make you move."

They become defensive and say,"oh no, you could have hit it if you wanted to."

The funny thing is, they still wouldn't get out of the way. However, they gave up after an hour or so.

Sunrise eh? beginners suck my balls there. i just forget about any trick named after the degrees of rotation. i think its more impressive to get through the park without hitting into someone or wanting to beat the shit out of some bitch-ass snowboarder that rides up the jump and gets absolutely no air and just pisses you the fuck off.

our ski patrol used to stand in front of the terrain park enterance and only let boarders through because skiers "weren't supposed to go off jumps." That ended one day when Craig Coker showed up, ducked under the rope, and threw bigger than any of the patrol had ever seen.

that reminds me of signs at big resorts that say "no jumping" and if you get caught "jumping" one, they will take your pass away for a few days first warning, second is the year adn third is a few years. this was at steamboat
