im gonna assume that you are now attempting your phd in geoengineering to even be able to have a somewhat eduicated respinse to this subject.
 
so i just watched al gore's video on this in my environmental studies class and got some good info...

the same uv rays come into our atmosphere as always but they are supposed to bounce off the earth and go back into space, but the shitty atmosphere we now have keeps them inside the earth thus leading to global warming...

also if only the greenland glaciers melted...it would raise the sea level 23ft.

and we are now at what they call "the point of no return" so even if we do completely stop pollution...it would make no difference, dont get me wrong it might slow it down a little but no matter what the damage is done...

and for everyone calling everyone else and idiot for coming up with ideas...fuck you...although their ideas might not work it helps other people come up with better ones so shut the fuck up and quit making fun of people

Dude you really have to get off the high horse here... Deminishing the attempts made by these people in order to look knowlewgeble is fucking just dumbfounded. Just because you dont know as much as they do about this solution does not mean it wont work.

You seem to think that getting people to stop polluting is the easiest solution. Obviously your the ignorant one. Do you think getting 6 billion people to change their behaviour, things their used to doing, is easy? Yes Im aware not every single person is responsible for pollution but humour me here.

Anyways these people are obviously thinking of ways to improve our current situation without having to rely on other people(including some less intelligent people whod prefer not to change their habits). Good on them
 
its not about plants being able to do photosynthesis, cause theyve been doing that since the begining of time, so a little less light is not a big problem..why are we worrying about that

but there is one thing i noticed that hasnt been thrown out there. deforrestation and industrialization. deforrestation (according to grolier, i cant directly source it unfortunately because you need an account to view its content) causes more of a change on climate and temperature than emissions for one main reason: surface albedo. im sure most of you are familiar with the term but those who arent its the reflectivity of a surface. by removing forrests, you drastically increase the surface albedo, and same with cities, except this increases the albedo even more. with more heat getting reflected from the ground, thats more heat to be suspended in the troposphere due to opaque emissions and THERE is a much better, and more believable (in my books), explanation of global warming.
 
oh that whole sunshade just reminded me of something. for those who watch the simpsons you definately remember mr burns sun blocking device. i wonder if that had any influence on this?

Im dont know really... but,

I just read that the sea level has changed. Some Island in Alaska where eskimo's life, is getting smaller and smaller, coz of rising sea. I could show you do it, but it is not in English. Like the whole scientific world is so messed up, every week you read other stuff! Some say southpole aint melting and getting bigger and other say its melting...

What do I have to believe....:S
 
You have to investigate where your information is coming from and see who has an agenda, and who is benefiting from the info.

The media is controlled by BIg Business, and they have money to make.

I love how everyone just dismisses the facts that we have record lows in the midwest and eastcoasts. GLOBAL WARMING DOES NOT EXIST.
 
^ It's gone now though, and it was only 15, 000 years ago. In the last 2 000 years, we've lost 90% of the ice on the planet. Dont be dumb.
