How fucked am I

This weekend I grenaded one of my pivot heels so I posted up on snowshare looking for a new heel piece. One of my homies that follows me swiped up and said he had an extra set of FKS 185 race bindings that would work I just needed to swap the brakes over. He claimed “basically new condition”. Well I swapped the brakes and mounted one of the heel pieces but the plastic shroud looks likes it’s about to explode and the din display simply reads nothing. When I was adjusting them with my boot in the kept clicking and creaking. Where you would pile your pole to release the binding it looks like a dog chewed them and I can see all the springs and shit inside. I’m still gonna use it bc I have no other choice. Wish me luck

What is wrong with you old heel pieces? If it’s circular metal baseplate I’ve gotten replacements from Sun and Ski for $50. Just have to snag them from their shop, I think in PC

I can’t explain it but no I would have needed the baseplate and heel piece and I was tryin to do it as cheap as possible. Cant beat free

I was chatting with jack on IG and it looked like the part of the brake that screws into the dildo arm broke off and is too deep into the arm to screw back out

Actually jack now that I think of it you should pull apart both your broken heel and the fks heel and use the good parts from each to make one solid heel piece. That way youll get to keep the 14 din spring and lose the sketchy housing, plus youll have a cool custom color scheme!
