How fast will Line sell off this years Bacons?

I know last year, the whole stock of Bacons sold off very quickly. This year, what does NS expect from them?

Would I be able to get away with waiting until March to order them with my tax return? Or should I consider trying to order a pair immediately with money that I'm not positive would be best spent on skis at this time?

Does anyone have any insider info on projected Sir Francis Bacons sales and amount produced?

just sac up, and buy them from malone! haha i don't know anything about the ski or anything but best of luck with your money/ski issue

Ugh, it's moreso an issue of I am not entirely sure I am comfortable spending the money of the skis right now. I KNOW I'll have the cash to play with come Feb-March.

Haha.

Decisions.

Mine will be for east coast too. :P

Limited use this year on WNY powder dumps from Lake Effect storms, and then use next year up in vermont.

Fuckkk... I hate making these decisions.

although this sounds the main reason credit cards were invented... you should be fine. Up until about a month ago, you could still buy 06-07 bacons. You should be fine in Feb.

I'm moving next summer.

Long term investment, and I def. won't have the money for new fun skis next year.

I won't be park skiing much on them, so they should last.

you could alway save money and buy invaders or anthems or somethin instead considering that they're for the east coast. honestly, bacons are cool to use on hard pack but not if you are dropping 5-600 on them just for that. If you have any doubts about if you have enough money then buying bacons for east coast just isn't smart.

I disagree. But, for now I'm going to bed cause I'm tired and have school tommorow. But just wait, tommorow I'll come up with some clever reason why fat skis are fun on the EC. :p

EP pros are already out of stock. Bacons are close, but there should be a restock. If your wanting them, get them. The 1st pair that landed in the shop that I work at was gone in the first week that we put them out.

Again...

I CURRENTLY live in Buffalo, NY. I have a career where I earn bonuses. That means my income varies and sometimes I get a decent amount of "extra money"

I have virtually brand new Invaders for park and all-around use here. I would be buying the SFBs now when I can afford them.

The only times I would use them here in WNY are when we get the Lake Effect storms that drop 2+ feet overnight. We do get 200+ inches of snow a winter, in a short 2-3 month span. Other than that, I would be saving them for next year, when I will be living in Vermont, and I won't be in a position to buy new skis. And I still intend on having seperate park skis. As well as I am hoping to spend 2 weeks in Whistler in March.

I have thought about this a lot. I've considered ARW's, Rossi Scratch BCs and the SFB.

Bottom-line, I talked to people who have skied the SFB's on the East Coast, and they were all in agreement that it was possibly one of the most fun skis they had ever skied.

Hey man, I'm from Niagara Falls, used to spend all my weekends skiing in Eliicottville. But anyway, depending on your size, you might want to consider Elizabeths if I were you. They would still be great for the snow we get in WNY and would be more fun all over and in the park and stuff. I am about 5'11 140lbs and I love my lizzies over my bacons if it's just for playing around everywhere, i ski them when i go home for christmas. Also work great in most powder for me, especially lower angle, which is what you'll have most on the EC.. good luck! Talk to the City Garage, in Ellicottville, they may be able to get a hold of bacons or lizzies for ya.

172 on a nearly-centermounted ski, even with the additional width seems too short to me. I'm on 178s centermounted now, and dont think i could fathom going shorter.

I'll consider the Lizzies. Maybe I'll stop by the City Garage some time and see on pricing thru them.

I got lucky and went to us outdoor store in early august and just happened to ask them if they had any in stock. they had just gotten their shipment and the guy brought me out a pair, now they are mine
