hey guys i was wondering how far you could bend an fks binding brake. in particular i am looking at a pair of fkx bindings. if you dont know they have the modern 4 hole screw upward release toe not geze toe and not zr pointy toes. i know for the last gen of fks bindings they were like 80 but were all turntable bindgings 80? it looks like you couldnt bend them very much before you hit the plastic things. i need them to fit anthems so like 100 or so. +k for help thanks ns

Anthems aren't even wide, they are a park ski with a 93 waist. I've seen FKS wrapped around a 130 waist, so don't worry about it.

okay next question. is it normal for fks heels to wobble up and down? im looking at a pic and one heel peice looks normal leaning back and the other ski the arms are super high up. can you pick up the boner heel up and down?

BUMP why didnt anyone tell me they make different size brakes for fks? these fkx have the short ones and im not sure the brakes will stretch far enough. the pic shows like an inch of brake before the plastic part begins. UGH

FKX's do have shorter arms, but they will still be plenty long to fit Anthems. Don't worry about it!

Different people have different methods. I prefer to take them apart and bend at room temperature, personally, but that's not the only way to do it. Keep in mind that older brakes will tend to be a little more brittle, so take your time. Look through the tutorial on TGR and make sure you totally understand it before starting, and check out the different variations people have posted in it. There are a few little tricks you can do that make the whole process quite a bit easier.

Man stop freaking out about your bindings so much! It takes little more that pulling the brakes apart with your HANDS to get them to 93. That's all I did with my TNKs and Pipecleaners, you don't need to do any more than widen them a couple hairs. It's not like you're wrapping them around Hellbents...
