How, exactly, does redbull make money?

Reb Bull sponsored a paper airplane competition on my campus so I went and filled my backpack with 25 cans. yee

i did an abbreviated project on this for corporate finance.....cant remember the #'s but their profit margins are huge

I would guess it doesnt even cost them 25 cents to make them. I always love when I see the red bull people passing out cans around campus.

Don't you think that if Red Bull's method of advertising was losing money or if it wasn't bringing in the expected profit, they would go to something else? Obv. its working or they wouldn't sponsor so many events/athetes.

dude they're the biggest player in the fast growing energy drink market worth over $ 2 billion a year!

world wide playboi...serious.

dude redbull is a huge comp what are you talking about they make so much money they can give what ever they fucking want away your stupid

when they give out hundreds of samples to everyone they see, those people, if they havent already, decide they like the shit and go buy more once the free stuff is gone. caffeine gets em and they drink red bull. end.

Red Bull is everywhere! Honestly, they wrote the book on marketing and distribution. Besides, what major company doesn't blow tons of ca$h on advertising and promotion? Look at Pepsi, McDonalds, etc., their marketing budgets are astronomical.

red bull is smart

they want to become a household name like kleenex so that people dont say "im gonna get an energy drink" they say "im gonna go get a red bull. and sponsering extreme events isnt that expensive. Not like sponsoring football

They aren't overcharging because everyone is prepared to pay a premium completely by choice.

They have marketed it in such a way where people can justify the cost.

You obviously aren't of drinking age - a night of Vodka Redbulls will teach you a few things thats for sure haha

Its marketing and it works. I'll be honest... even though red bulls dont taste amazing i end up choosing them over other energy drinks because i know they're involved with freeskiing and motocross. I'm probaly not the only one either

Dude... its $3.50 for a can of redbull. Theyre making a KILLING on each can, its sold EVERYWHERE, and its ADDICTIVE.

like everyoe said, they have a huge profit margin and their advertising works.

and the sponsoring helps them too. i mean, people actually say, "that's so red bull"

nobody says "that's so monster."

well, not about the drink, anyway.
