How easy is it to snag a ride from Hood to Portland International?

you can usually find someone at the airport whos driving up to the mountain. bring a sign that says HOOD on it
 
The way the thread sounds it seems like you want to know how easy it will be to LEAVE hood. I really don't know since I have only been there once. In july there should be people coming and going often so I guess you should just be friendly and not look like a rapist.
 
Yah you may not want to be wearing like 7 tall tees and a bandana. maybe go down to 2 or 3 and just grow a beard if you really need something to cover your face and then just stand in the lobby with a sign saying "Portland International!"
 
It's pretty darn easy, just ask around while your up at timberline and you can normally find some locals heading back down to Portland
 
when the date approaches, post on Craigslist rideshare and offer some dollars for the lift. Shouldnt be too hard. Or bribe one of the camp van drivers who make regular trips to the Airport.
