How Durable Are The Afterbangs?

I love to ride Line's Skis, But I don't have enough cash to buy the Chronics but was wondering how durable the afterbang was.. I live on the east coast and ski in vermont, ice is a factor and the jumps i hit are only 25'-45', and i like rails and boxes too.. just wanted to see if anyone had problems with them before or not

they get really heavy when it is slushy cause they get waterlogged like a skate deck. the bases are also extruded meaning they'll be slow. not a big deal if you only use em for park. from what i hear they sound like they can take a good beating

they chip alot and get water logged, but the edges are pretty good, i would look for something else

They are FUCKING DURABLE. But really, Ive had mine this past season, and all I hit here on the east coast are rails. They are great for what I did this past season. I had a 90+ day season, and like I said, it was all rails. They were great in my opinion. They NEVER got...

-waterlogged

-edge cracks (which does still surprise me because I truly rode over and hit whatever whenever)

Now the only things I did notice were that my bases have quite a few divots and scratches (no core shots on the base) but that is with all skis after a season of metal. I also have a ton of "sidewall" chips and divots, and the paint is chipping off out of control.

Overall, the functional parts of the skis are still in tact, but like I said the topsheet and the sidewall have taken some damage. With that said, they did last the whole season, and I plan on using them until they break

I MAY be able to get some Chronic's if i get a job, i wrecked my anthems at Camp Of Champs, If you guys know anything about the Chronics that would help a bunch

Chronics are decent...cryptos are for when ya want to get serious and they have outlasted any comparable ski I've ever owned...ya can't go wrong with the crypto and everyone is trending wider underfoot anyhow....get you a job and then get you some cryptos homie!

Don't get them. Mine were awesome, and pretty novel to own for a while. They weren't too heavy, they were buttery as fuck, underfoot is nice and stiff, and they skied pretty great.

Then they got waterlogged, which made them about 10000 pounds. And then they bent. And then they broke. They lasted me a solid 4 months. If you are trying to find affordable skis now, you are better off spending a bigger chunk of change and not having to try to find affordable skis halfway through next season.
